I bite the inside of my cheek, hard, before I finally speak. "Let me go."

Aizawa stares at me, as if searching for an answer on whether he really should or not. I keep my face blank.

"You have already hurt me, Aizawa." I maintain eye contact with him even though it is so very hard right now. "If it is really the last thing you want to do, then why was it second nature for you every damn day?"

"Why do you think." His brows furrow, as if it pains him to talk.

"Humor me." I curl my lip, trying to struggle a bit in the scarf that binds me.

"Call it a means of flirting, but teasing you has been my favorite thing about this school." Aizawa grins slightly now, as if reminiscing.

"You broke down my confidence and made me feel less than, constantly." I lean forward, wishing I was petty enough to spit in his face right now. "Our definitions of flirting are very different, Shota."

"That is not who I am to you." He says, biting his lip, looking very much the part of a hurt puppy.

"Then who are you to me?" I laugh in his face.

"I didn't know I was hurting you." He drops to his knees and is now closer to me. "I wanted to mess with you, but I took things too far."

"You didn't know?" I grit my teeth, trying to rein in my temper. "Do you know how it feels to be riled up just to be completely abandoned directly after?"

"I do." He says, his hands resting on his thighs as he stares at me.

"No." I say, meeting his eyes. "I don't think you do."

"I wanted to tease the new teacher, I didn't want to hurt you." He slowly reaches for me, but I shrink away. "I wanted to push you to harden you as a teacher, flirting as well, but didn't realize I was ultimately hurting you in the process."

I huff, turning away. "That's a stupid reason, do you do that to every teacher here?"

Aizawa leans closer to me and uses his finger to move my face back to him. "Only you."

"And I am supposed to believe that?" I narrow my eyes at him, trying to not focus on the finger that is touching my face.

"So argumentative." He starts to slowly move his finger to softly caress my cheek. "I will not lie to you, ever again."

I purse my lips at that and I can see the moment he notices I'm about to make a snide remark.

"Ever, Elektra." He lets his finger slide across my skin, his touch featherlight and I almost fall into it. "Can we start this again?"

"Start what Aizawa?" I shake his finger away from my face and turn my head back up to him. "I've been here months, you've had all the time you could possibly need."

"You are impossible." He says, clenching his fists.

"And you are impatient." I grumble, looking past him. "Bastard."

He laughs, a dark amused one that sends a shiver down my spine, making me look back to him.

"I want you." Aizawa says, his hair beautiful in the dull light. "Only you."

"Release me, Aizawa." I say, full confidence, as I struggle to maintain eye contact. His eyes are so starkly beautiful as light bounces off them, making his eyes bags slightly visible.

"Elektra." He ignores me. "I want everything you want, but there are things I need to stop and things I need to get over, so I ask you, will you help me?"

"You let me suffer for months, while you make me feel small and unwanted." I feel my strength renew and my resolve become unsure. "Yet you expect me to forget it all and help you?"

"Isn't that how forgiveness works?" Aizawa half shrugs, his eyes scrunching at his confusion.

My blood boils and all of a sudden I feel my body jolt. My arms break free from the scarf and I strain to get the rest of my body free as I use my quirk on Aizawa. I see myself from his eyes and I let the scarf slink back to my neck. Then, once I set myself free, I quickly shut myself down and turn off my quirk.

Aizawa falls back onto his hands and takes in a big breath, staring at me. "Did you just-"

I stand up, towering over him as I speak. "You want forgiveness, fight for it."

"What do you think I've been doing this entire visit?" He laughs half heartedly, staring up at me through low-lidded eyes.

"Get up, and fight me for it Aizawa." I clench my fists, wanting to stomp on this guys face. "Earn it."
