The sun shined through the curtains to my eyes. I turned off the alarm and sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes checking my phone, and just in time I received a message from Mikhail saying.
Bleu: Good morning! Drink lots of water and have your breakfast also don't forget your meds. I'm picking you up in 30 minutes. Love you💐
Checking the time, I got out of bed and headed straight to the bathroom in my room.
I wore a white flowy dress then letting go of my hair from the towel after drying it. I rushed to the door, greeted by my mom good morning.
"Good morning, Raine. How's your sleep? Are you okay?" she smiled but there was worry in her eyes.
"I'm great! Bleu and I are going out, at last! I feel like I've been in a quarantine for a whole year now!" I whined jokingly.
"Okay, honey that's sounds great. Are you sure you're not feeling anything?"
"Yup" I nodded.
I sat on the table, there were already food served in my plate, pancake and fried eggs just the way I like it. I looked at the three pills to my right, then looking at mom I sighed, "Will I be okay?"
"You will..." assuring me with a hug, patting my back.
I will, those words resounded in my head the whole of breakfast. That quickly, my mood shifted again, I feel like not going afterall. Then right after I finished, he was already knocking at the door. I stood up and told my mom I'll open it.
"Bleu!" I said, almost breathless.
"Raine." he smirked, looking at me. "My Raine," he comtinued.
A blush quickly crept on my cheeks as I felt his warm gaze at me. I continue to stare into his sapphire blue eyes for awhile, then I noticed the fresh pink tulips resting in his arms. "Is that for me?"
"Of course," Bleu said in a soft and gentle voice.
"Can I come in? Or am I not allowed to enter the house?" he added smiling playfully.
"Ah shoot! Yes please, come in," I said quickly moving away out of the doorway.
He chuckled as he stepped into the house, my mother then greeted him with a smile and my father with a nod.
"Can I take her out?" he formally asked bitting his lips.
"No." father coldly replied.
With slight embarrassment Bleu looked at me licking his lips then turning back to my father.
"Nah, you kids have no chill! I was just joking of course!"
"For a second I thought you were serious," Bleu said rubbing the back of his hair with one hand.

"Where we going?!"
"Are we there yet?"
"Where is it? Just tell me already!"
I continued to whine for the rest of the drive as if imitating a child begging her mom to buy candies. He just looks at me smiling and then focusing on the road. It wasn't long enough before I grew tired of asking and fell asleep. He looks at me in the passenger seat now sleeping peacefully like an angel. I looked very tired and exhausted even my face looks dull and almost lifeless. He knows that he at least has to make me happy just this once, again, after what the doctor said that day, Bleu began to notice my smiles became too infrequent throughout the days. Not trying to wake me up, he fixed the hairs covering my face behind my ear. Bleu sees the moment just as memorable as our first meeting and gets his phone to capture it, but he forgot to turn the flash off.
"What are you doing?" I asked with confusion rubbing my eyes.
"Are you taking a picture of me while sleeping?!" I continued while putting my hair up.
"What if I was?" he smirked.
"Well, we're here." He said quickly to change the topic. Bleu got off the car and ran to my door opening it then assisting me getting out, he gently held my waist smiling softly at me.
I instantly noticed the sea from not quite a distance where we are. I looked around and I found that we're alone at this beautiful beach. The waves roaring, birds chirping, breeze embracing me. I ran towards the water leaving Bleu worried running after me.
"Raine, wait!" he screamed in disbelief I'd actually ran to the water.
I felt free as if one with the wind, I closed my eyes, soon after I felt him hugging me from behind whispering, "Do you love it?"
"More than anything!" I gleefully answered.
Pulling away from the hug, I turned to him cupping his face in a sweet tone, "I'm hungry."
"Of course you are," He laughed softly then holding my hand.

"Gosh! I'm so full!" I exclaimed pointing at my stomach.
"Well, you ate it all. You didn't even bother saving some for me," he said grinning.
"That's not true!"
Bleu chuckled at my reaction denying him then collecting himself quickly. He smiled at me, drinking wine bitting his lips while staring at me passionately. Embarassed I looked away to the ocean observing every wave only to find myself again staring into this man's painted blue deep sea eyes.
"Are you okay?"
"What will you do if I die?" I lowered my eyes to his hands. I rose my head up and stared at him quietly. I don't know what to feel.
I started at him with a sad smile with Bleu watching me attentively. Although no words are spoken, he lifted his hand off the sand and rested it on top of mine gently. That was all I needed from him, from everyone. Reassurance. Comfort. Love.
"Will I be okay..."
"Are you out of your mind? Gosh Raine, of course you'll be okay! You're going to be okay! We stil have a lifetime to spend!" Mikhail said with disappointment clearly visible in his eyes.
Lost for words I sat there quietly as tears welled up in my eyes.
Taking a deep breath, Bleu softened up just by seeing tears fall down my cheeks. "Hey Tulip listen to me. It's going to be fine, you're the strongest woman I know. I'll always be here for you, I promise."
"What if I'm not as strong as you think I am---"
"You're stronger than you think you are," taking my hand into his and looking straight into my eyes. "Promise me, you'll be strong? For us?"
Nodding, I wiped my tears and gave Bleu a smile, looking back down at our hands. "I... Thank you."
"It's already getting cold, let's get you home," The seriousness in his voice was evident.
I stood up still shaking and hugged him tightly before letting go.
"A lifetime Raine, we still have a lifetime to spend..."
