"Where are we going?" I excitedly asked coming out of the car, Mikhail holding my other hand.

"Secret." He smiled

After a long walk on the trail, bored I asked, "Really? WHERE ARE WE GOING?!"

"Can we have just a little patience, please"

"But my legs hurt!" I exclaimed whining pointing at my legs.

He just laughed and went on his way, ignoring every time I ask him about where are we going.

"Are we there yet? Is my birthday present there?" I asked impatiently sitting by the leaves.

"Raine, you'll get dirty."

"But I'm more tired!"

Before I know it, he swayed me through the air, swiftly in his arms carrying me bridalstyle.

"There, better?" he asked rolling his eyes.

"Better!" I smiled nodding lightly.

Soon we reached the beach and found a spot, looking over the waves. Mikhail took his suit off and to the sand for us to sit on.

"What, what if... it's just a what if, but what if I happen to die first than you?" I asked curiously staring at him.

"Raine"

"No, I mean, it's just a what if" I blurted out catching his eyes wondering around the beach.

"Raine"

"What if I die first? What if I have to die?

"Have?"

"No, Mikhail it's just a what if," I smiled cupping his face to catch a glimpse of his eyes.

"Raine" He stated not even staring at me.

"What if I die?" I said looking down at the sand infront of me, playing it in my hands.

"RAINE! You want to know what I think?!" He snapped lifting my hands from the sand waking me up from my trance.

...

For a moment there was just silence, but this silence is killing the both of us. Waiting for each other to speak, until finally, he spoke, "You won't die, I won't let you."

"But what if?"

"Raine, please." He said sighing deeply desparate to stop the conversation.

"Mikhail, I just thought that..."

Before I could even speak another word he cut me off shortly grabbing my hands caressing it gently and with his other hand he reached in for his pocket. Giving me a weak smile he extended his hand to me placing a velvet box on my lap.

"What is this? For me?"

"It's a hair piece."

"It's a tulip!" I pointed out quickly revealing a tulip hairpiece with sapphire at its bloom.

"Beautiful just like you" he chuckled looking at me.

"Oh! That's sharp!" I exclaimed excitedly admiring his gift.

"And just like you, dangerous." He said playfully, smirking.

"I love it, thank you."

"I love you." He said biting his lips while placing the hairpiece on my bun.
