"Welcome to the Fire&Ice competition. This is where we have four snowboard teams and they compete against each other to try and win the ultimate spot."

Audience applauds.

"We have Team Shredders, Team Silk, Team Hoot, and lastly but certainly not least, Team Swift!!!!" The crowd cheers and screams. The teams enter when they're name is called.

"Up next, women's Half pipe." The announcer said through the microphone with it booming through my ears. "Up first, Kristi Ogden from Team Swift!!"

Kristi was my best friend. We went through everything together. Every time I was here, we would always go boarding together.

She was doing some stunts that were pretty risky.

She goes up and does the hardest trick. And that's when my world crumpled in front of me. She didn't do it right and she came falling down, hitting the ground hard. I screamed and ran out towards her. By now I'm crying.

"KRISTI!!!! PLEASE ANSWER ME!!!" Nothing. Not a word. I felt her pulse, but felt nothing. She wasn't breathing. My whole world just died in front of my eyes.

~End of dream~

I wake up crying and sweating. It was a dream back to the day I lost my best friend. The one I had before Virgo. I realize that I'm breathing really heavy. But I can't stop. I try calming myself down but it won't work.

I wake up Virgo, and she tried to help me calm down but it isn't happening. Flashbacks of my best friend lying dead in my arms.

"CAMERON!!! NASH!!!" Virgo hollered. They both come running in with the other boys following. Cameron and Nash come to my sides. "Meggan?!?!? What's wrong? What happened??" Cameron said while him and Nash were rubbing circles in my back. "I had another flashback. To the day I dreaded. Cameron, it came back. It all came back. It was gone, but now it's back. Thinking of going back to the place I lost her brings the dream back." I said freaking out. "Shhhh. It's okay. You're all right." He said hugging me rocking me back and forth.

"Who is she talking about Cameron?" Hayes asked. "Um. her best friend Kristi that she lost." I couldn't not cry when I heard her name. I was bawling my eyes out onto Cameron's chest.

"What do you mean, Lost her?" Matt chocked out. "She was doing a competition and she did the wrong turn and she fell and collapsed her lungs to where she couldn't get any oxygen." He said. "You mean, she died?" Taylor asked. I couldn't handle it anymore, I got up and sprinted out of my room. I ran to the backyard to a tree I always hide at.

I see Virgo come running after me, and comes up where I am. She just a hugs me calming me down.

We went back inside, and all the boys came up and gave me a huge hug. "I'm so sorry Meggan." Hayes said. "It's okay." I said.

Since it was still like 1 in the mornjng, we went back to bed. Except we all stayed in the living room. "Cameron, can you lay with me?" I asked. "Of course." he said laying down and wrapping his arms around me. I buried my head into his chest and fell asleep.

~7 in the morning~

BUZZZZ!!!!! My phone went off. It was the day we leave for Summit Valley. I never really told anyone about Kristi. The only people who knew were Cam, Virgo, Mom, Dad, and Nash. I got out of Cameron's grasp and went into my room. I hopped in the shower. After I got out, I put on some undergarments, Nike sweatpants, and a Nike blue shirt. I also put on Nike socks and some tennis shoes.

I took my bags and took them downstairs and set them next to the door. I decided I might as well wake everyone else up since we have to be at the airport by 8:45. They a got up and got ready.

We said our goodbyes to my mom and left for the airport. It was a 30-minute drive to the airport, so I ended up falling asleep on Virgo's shoulder.

We got to the airport and got checked in and all that special jazz. We still had 15 minutes till we board the plane so I sat down in the chairs. Virgo sat next to me in my right and Nash on my left.

Finally, we heard them announce saying our plane was ready. We boarded the plane. I got a window seat and Virgo sat next to me. Hayes and Matt behind us, Cam and Nash next to us, and Taylor in front of us.

It was going to be Atleast and hour flight. I stuck my headphones in my ears and listened to music. I eventually found myself drifting off into a deep sleep.
