2 years later Gibbs is out of the hospital and is staying up in his cabin still recovering from the attack.
Fornell: "Hey Butch!"
Gibbs: "Don't you have somewhere else to be?"
Fornell: "No, I quit, remember?"
Gibbs: "Yeah I do, sadly."
Fornell: "Oh come on, don't be like that."
Gibbs: (Gibbs glare)
Fornell: "Hey, I'm here to make sure you didn't keel over."
Gibbs: "I'm fine."
Fornell: "Sure."
Gibbs:"What's the real reason you're here?"
SecDef: "Good to see you Gibbs."
Gibbs: "Sir?"
SecDef: "Call me Curt."
Gibbs: "What are you doing here?"
SecDef: "We have information. The attack that took place at FOB Sykes was coordinated by a radicalized islamic group called His-Bal-Shahid, they are fed money through Pakistani and Suadi governments."
Gibbs: "Good reason to want POTUS dead"
SecDef: "Here's the thing, they didn't want him dead."
Gibbs: "What do you mean?"
SecDef: "They want you dead."
Gibbs: WHAT THE-(Grabs his ribs) HELL!"
SecDef: "We don't know, but you did something to piss 'em off."
Fornell: "That could've been a lot of things."
SecDef: "But they don't know you survived the attack. So right now, just get yourself healed up Gunny."
Gibbs: "Yeah."
2 more years later Gibbs is healed up, but still stuck in his cabin, and one pissed off SecNav, Fornell and SecDef are walking up to his cabin.
SecNav: "Gibbs I tried to get him to assign it to someone else."
Gibbs: "What?"
SecDef: "The CIA director has a stick up his ass and is sending you back to Iraq."
Gibbs: "When?"
Fornell: "That's all you got to say?"
Gibbs: "Yeah."
SecDef: "0500 tomorrow."
Gibbs: "Damn CIA."
All: "Tell me about it."
SecDef: "Goodluck."
