Jack sits there for a minute looking at Gibbs', he has cuts and bruises in his face, busted knuckles, his arm is in a sling, his wrist is wrapped up, he has bandages around his neck, a brace on his leg. She keeps thinking about how she could have prevented it, until she's pulled out of her thoughts by Gibbs' voice.
Gibbs: "Don't do that."
Jack: "Don't do what?"
Gibbs: "Blame yourself."
Jack: "What makes you think-"
Gibbs: "Look on your face when you look at me."
Jack: "But I feel-"
Gibbs: "Those guys would have come after me anyway, at least I had backup wi-ah-me."
Jauck: "But I-"
Gibbs: "Not your fault, hell if anything it's mine."
Jack: "Why do you say that?"
Gibbs: "I put myself in this mess."
Jack: "This all started because you wanted to protect Leon and SecNav."
Gibbs: "My job."
Jack: "Your job is to bring down murderers and terrorists, not have your death faked, being blown up, shot, stabbed, sent to god knows and have only god knows who is coming after you."
Gibbs: "First time getting stabbed."
Jack: "That's a good thing!"
Vance: "It is because it means he hasn't been stabbed before."
Jack: "Still not a good thing."
Vance: "How are you doing Gibbs?"
Gibbs: "Been better."
Vance: "Sure you have, are you updated on the recent leads?"
Jack: "Leon." (Shaking her head)
Vance: "Uhhh-"
Gibbs: "What!?"
Vance: "Uhhh-"
Gibbs: "Did you spring a leak!?"
Gibbs: "What the hell is going on?!"
Jack: "Woah calm down, we'll tell you."
Vance: "We figured out one of the men who ordered the hit."
Gibbs: "...Who?"
Vance: "Omar Bridges-"
Gibbs: "WHY THE HELL DOES THE DNI WANT ME DEAD?"
Jack: "Calm down Gibbs.'
Vance: "We don't know yet, and then there's a woman, who's name we don't know yet."
Gibbs: "A woman...great."
Vance: (Snickers) "Did you piss off an ex?"
Gibbs: "When I came back, Rebecca and Stephanie wanted to talk to me, they didn't."
Jack: "Are we seriously implying that his ex's hired terrorists to kill him?"
Gibbs & Vance: "......No."
Jack: "You two!"
Vance: "I should get back."
Jack: "Bye Leon."
Vance: "Gibbs."
Vance leaves.
