Previously on NCIS 

Man 4: "Sweetheart, you just made things more complicated."

Gibbs: "Don't call her sweetheart!"

Gibbs somehow managed to get to his feet, and charges the man, tackling him. They both hit the floor and Gibbs snaps his neck, and passes out on top of him. Jack comes running over and pulls Gibbs off the man.

Jack: "Gibbs! Gibbs!"
Jack: "Hey Gibbs, you gotta fight!"
Jack: "Come on, fight for me!"
Jack: (Crying) "Co-come on!"

Jack sofly lifts Gibbs' head up and sets it in her lap.

Jack: "Come Gibbs!"
Gibbs: (Breathing slows)

Jack: "Don't leave me again!"
Gibbs: (Squeezes her hand)

Jack: "I knew you were still fighting."
Jack: "Come on!"
Jack: "Stay awake, come on."
Gibbs: (Coughs weekly)

Jack: "Please Gibbs!"
Jack: "I need you here with me!"

Jack: "Where the hell are the paramedics!"
Jack: "Show those beautiful baby blues, come on!"
Jack: "Hang on!"
Gibbs: "I-I'm-so-so-sorry-Ja-"
Gibbs: (Stops breathing)

Jack: "NOO! Gibbs!"
Jack: "You still gotta fight!"
Jack: (Sobbing) "Gibbs?"

Jack leans over and kisses Gibbs on the head then lays her head on his chest.

EMT: "Ma'am, we can take it from here."

EMT: "WE NEED THE PADDLES!"
EMT: "Come on!"

At the hospital.

Nurse: "We have a 60 year old male, 3 GSWs, one to the shoulder, one chest and one to the neck, 2 stab wounds to the abdomen, broken ribs, possible broken clavicle and wrist."

Jack: "COME ON GIBBS!"
Doctor: "Get me an OR ready."

Nurse: "He's crashing fast!"
Nurse: "We need 2 more O negs."
Jack: "Stay with me Gibbs."

Nurse: "Ma'am, please, go in the waiting area."

In the waiting room Jack sits down with Gibbs blood all over her. She starts crying and thinking about what Gibbs said to her at the diner. Vance and the others finally get there.

Ducky: "How is he Jacqueline?"
Jack: (Sobbing) "He's was dying Ducky."

Bishop starts crying and buries her head in Nick's shoulder.

Torres: "He'll be okay, he's Gibbs."

Ducky: "He's not dying, you hear me?"

Jack: "But he was Ducky."
Vance: "Here sit down, can you tell me what happened?"

Jack: "We were sitting at the diner talking and we shot goes off from outside, it hits Gibbs in the shoulder."
Vance: "Then what?"
Jack: "The stubborn bastard, made me take everyone outside."

Jack: "I got back in, and I-I-"
Bishop: "It's okay Jack."
Jack: "I see the man standing over Gibbs, getting ready to stab him."
Jack: "I take him out, and go over to help Gibbs, but the son of a bitch had a vest on. The man was going to shoot me......Gibbs stood up, tackled him and broke his neck, then he collapsed."
Vance: "Thank you, Jack."

Jack: (Whispers) "I'm sorry."
Ducky: "There's nothing to be sorry for."

Jack: "No, that's the la-last thing Gibbs told me, Ducky."

McGee comes out of the elevator and runs over to the waiting room where he sees Bishop and Jack crying.

McGee: "I-is he?"

Ducky: "No Timothy, he's in surgery."

McGee: "What happened?"
Vance: "I need you and the team to head to the diner, and claim the crime scene."
All: "Yes Sir."

The team gets to the diner where they find a familiar detective.

Detective: "Hey, you're Agent McGee with NCIS right?"
McGee: "Oh yeah and you're Dockery."
Dockery: "Yeah, and I'm sorry about Agent Gibbs, I couldn't make it to the funeral."

Torres: "Actually, that's why we're here."
Dockery: "Come again?"
McGee: "He's alive."
McGee: "At the moment."
Dockery: "Wait, so he's the son of a bitch that took them out?"

All: "Yes"
Dockery: "What the hell happened?"
Bishop: "That's what we're here to find out."
Dockery: "Is he going to be okay?"
McGee: "We don't know."
Dockery: "The scenes all yours."

McGee: "Thank you."

Dockery: "Godspeed, Agents."
