The team collects the evidence and heads back to NCIS to start working on the case, when an all too familiar man comes out of the elevator.
McGee: "That can't be good."
Bishop: "No it can not."
Torres: "CIA director Maverick walks into NCIS an hour after Gibbs is blown to hell and back, no it can't be good."
Maverick: "Gibbs' team MTAC NOW!"
Maverick: "So by now I know all of you know that Gibbs was sent back to Iraq this past year."
All: "Sir?"
Maverick: "That's not true. He was attached to a Marine MARSOC team. They conducted raids and missions all throughout the Middle East and Asia."
Vance:"Why are you just reading us in now?"
Maverick: "Because at the time it wasn't a matter of National Security."
Maverick:"For the past years Agent Gibbs has been targeted and hunted by His-Bal-Shahid, for revenge. AT the time we couldn't connect all the dots until now."
Maverick: "Their leader was the child of a woman with Palestnian roots and his father, former Mossad Director-"
All: "Eli David."
Maverick: "They want revenge on Gibbs for killing Ari Hasarwi."
Maverick: "I decided to read you in because, first of Agent Gibbs is down and we know you're the best. This group is highly organized. They are a melting pot of different cultural backgrounds, who believe in the radicalized Muslim religion. Most of them are disgruntled Military, with the hate against their Government they felt turned their backs on them. They have stockpiles of weapons used by multiple different Militaries around the world. They will stop at nothing to finish what they were hired to do."
McGee: "Read us in, so we can prevent another 9/11."
Maverick: "That's the worst case scenario."
Maverick: "I'm counting on you, finish what Gibbs started."
