Previously on NCIS

Jack: "I'm just scared, shouldn't he be out by now?"

Ducky: "I don't know the answer to that."

Doctor: "Dr. Mallard?"
Ducky: "He's out of surgery, only one of you can go back to see him."
Jack: "Dr. Mallard can-"
Ducky: "Go."

In Gibbs' hospital room.

Jack: "Hey Cowboy?"
Jack: "Oh Gibbs."

Jack: "I'm sorry, I should've been there and helped you."

Jack leans in and kisses Gibbs on the head then holds his hand and falls asleep.

Jack: "Morning Gibbs."
Jack: "I need you to wake up, please."
Doctor: "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you, I heard talking and thought maybe he was awake."

Jack: "No."

Doctor: "Alright."
Jack: "Doc is he in pain?"

Doctor: "I can't say for sure the way for us to know, is if he would tell us himself."

Jack: "Okay."

A couple of hours later. Jack is asleep in Gibbs room, when she has another nightmare.

Jack is thrown into a dark room and the door shuts behind her. She hears someone coming to the door. The door opens and there's two men holding another unconscious man in their hands. They two guys throw the man on the floor and shut the door behind them. The man was Gibbs.

Jack: "Oh Gibbs."

Jack: "Come on, wake up."

Jack: "Gibbs!"
Jack: "Come on cowboy!"

Then Jack notices Gibbs leg is bleeding, she puts her hand on the wound to stop the bleeding. This wakes Gibbs up.

Gibbs: "AGH!"
Jack: "Gibbs, oh thank god."
Gibbs: "Agh-oh-Jack, what happened?"
Jack: "I don't know."

Jack: "Oh- what happened to your leg?"
Gibbs: "I-agh-was going down to my basement, and someone sho-agh-shot me. Then I woke u-up here."
Jack: "We gotta get you medical attention."
Gibbs: "I'll-agh-be fine, you gotta get out of here."
Jack: "I'm not going to leave you."
Gibbs: "Come on, help me up."
Gibbs: "AGH!"

Jack: "I'm sorry."

Gibbs: (Heavy breathing) "No, not you, come on."
Jack: "Can you walk?"
Gibbs: "We're about to find out."

There's a loud bang.

Jack: "What the hell was that?"
Gibbs: "I think I know."

Jack looks at Gibbs, to see his chest bleeding. He collapses and Jack catches him. He was dead.

Jack: (Sobbing) "Gibbs!"

Gibbs: (Raspy voice) "Ja-Jack."

Jack: (Jolts awake) "Don't leave me."

Gibbs: "H-agh-hey are you alright?"

Jack: "I should be asking you."
Jack: "How are you feeling?"
Gibbs: "Agh-fine."
Jack: "You scared me."
Gibbs: "I-I'm sorry."

Jack: "Don't break your own rule."
Gibbs: "Are you okay?"

Jack: "I am now."

Gibbs: (Chuckle) "Ah-agh."

Ducky: "Welcome back Jethro."

Gibbs: "Agh-hey Duck."

Ducky: "How are you feeling?"

Gibbs: "Agh-fine."
Ducky: "Okay, we'll try this again. Jaqueline, how is he feeling?"
Jack: "Probably in some pain."

Gibbs: "He-agh."

Jack: "Cowboy?"

Gibbs: "I'm-I'm fine."
