Nurse: "He's asleep, so be quiet and make sure not to disturb him."

Jack: "Thank you."

Fornell: "What happened?"
Jack: "We were sitting at the diner talking, and we heard a gunshot, right about then I felt him pull me onto the ground. I saw that he was hit, but he told me he was fine and to get everyone out. By the time I got everyone out, called the police and went back in, Gibbs had already taken out 3 of the attackers. Gibbs and the last guy were fighting on the floor, he went to stab Gibbs, but I took him out. I went over to help him until the ambulance arrived, but what I didn't know was that he had a vest. Gibbs somehow tackled him before he could shoot me."

Fornell: "Are you okay?"
Jack: "I'm okay."
Fornell: "He will be too."
Jack: "I know."
Jack: "You know the 5 five years he was out of commission, we had three different embassy bombings, a coup in Iran, that almost took out M Sec, Anterax attacks and Russia almost went nuclear with US."
Fornell: "Cause the world goes to hell when he's gone."

Jack: "Yeah, I've begun to realize that."
Jack: "Fornell, did you know he didn't go back to Iraq this past year?"
Fornell: "What?"

Jack: "So, he didn't even tell you."
Fornell: "No? Where did he go?"
Jack: "Suadi Arabia, Bosnia, Bahrain, Yemen, South Sudan, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Serbia, Lebanon, Pakistan and Jordan."

Fornell: "What the hell?"

Jack: "Thinking the same thing."

Fornell: "Do you know what he was doing?"

Jack: "Classified."
Fornell: "Come on Sloane."
Jack: "It's classified, we don't know."
Fornell: "Will we ever?"

Jack: "Well, he was helping prevent WW3, so no, probably never."
Fornell: "What the hell was he up to?"
Jack: "And we found out who put out the hit."
Fornell: "Who!?"
Jack: "We have 2 high ranking White House officials, IP addresses, but we can't narrow them down to two people."
Fornell: "How much was the hit?"
Jack: "Fornell!"
Fornell: "I wanna see how much they paid for him, cause I'm out of a job."
Jack: "500 grand."

Fornell: (Busts laughing)

Fornell: "I had a million."
Jack: "Are you seriously comparing how much hitmen have been paid to kill you two?"
Fornell: "Yes."
Jack: "Do you guys have anything other than that to compare."
Fornell: "Well-"
Jack: "Don't even go there."

Jenny: "Did I just hear what I think I did?"

Jack: "Yes, and I'm trying to un-hear it."
Jenny: "How is Jethro doing?"

Fornell: "He made it out of surgery, Director-Jenny-what the hell I call you?"

Jenny: "Shepard will suffice."
Jenny: "Is there anything I can do?"
