This is a rewrite to my first ever story that I've written, The Killer. I went back to read it and saw some potential for this to be a good story, but there were also many areas where I couldn't stop cringing. Hopefully I've changed it and made it less cringe-like.
If you do plan on going back to read The Killer, please, please, please don't read it until you finish this first. I don't want you to spoil the ending with my terrible writing.
