Natasha's POV:

"Tony, did you know that you are REALLY annoying? I'm trying to do my work."

He groans loudly whilst stomping his feet like a toddler and I just throw a glance at him. Men. They're such children and they're so irritating.

"Come on Romanoff, just one coffee, I'm pretty sure I haven't slept for about 72 hours."

I shrug still focusing on my tablet.

"Pretty sure that sounds like a you problem Tony."

He whines again and I heavily roll my eyes and look straight at him and see his bottom lip stuck out like a little kid. Is he really pouting at me right now? Oh no, not just pouting, here come the crocodile tears as well. Son of a bitch. Anyone would think I've just shot his puppy or something, not said no to getting coffee.

"If I come with you to get coffee will you leave me alone to do my work?"

He nods excitedly at me and I just sigh. This man is unbelievable.

"Alright, but I'm driving, you drive like a psycho."

He snatches the keys straight off the table in front of me and I raise my eyebrow and look at him with my head tilted.

"Seriously Stark?"

He nods with a playful smile.

"Deadly serious, Romanoff."

I just shrug and follow him to the compounds garage and let him pick the car and I get in the passenger's seat and I look at him.

"You realise you're paying right?"

He looks at me unimpressed.

"Seriously Romanoff?"

I do exactly what he did to me not even 5 minutes prior with a playful smile.

"Deadly serious, Stark."

We both laugh together and drive to the coffee place he is always ranting and raving about. I'm content just sat in silence until Tony perks up and glances at me through the rear-view mirror and lowers his sunglasses.

"So, after the whole you and Bruce thing...you on the dating scene at all Na-"

I quickly cut him off.

"Nope, and I'm not planning to be. Love is for children."

He nods slowly and does a slight laugh.

"So you don't love us then? The Avengers? Your friends?"

I shoot him a harsh glare.

"That is not what I said Tony and you know it."

I shuffle uncomfortably in my seat and sit further back frowning. I can't believe he just said that to me, he knows how I feel about everyone. They're my family and I love them as such. I sigh to myself and start picking at my nails not giving Tony the slightest bit of attention. I keep seeing him glancing at me but I just refuse to acknowledge him, he stepped over a line and he knew it and I hear him sigh.

"Natasha, I was only joking, I'm sor-"

I snap at him.

"Don't."

He just nods and stays silent and I glance at him and sigh.

"Sorry Tony, I didn't want to react like that. I've just had a lot going on lately and I just-I'm struggling a little."

He nods and smiles softly at me.

"I get it, as much as I can annoy you and mess with you, you know I'm here for you right and you can talk to me about anything?"

I glance at him slightly and nod. I can talk to him about anything he says, how can I talk to him about things I can't even admit to myself? I crack a small smile as we pull up at the coffee shop.

"Thank you, Tony."

He smiles more noticing I'm now out of my mood.

"No problem red, what do you want?"

"Coffee, please. Black with one sugar, thanks."

He nods and gets out only to be greeted with screaming girls and I let out a chuckle and watch him do his famous, yet slightly irritating, big Tony Stark entrance. Jesus, the screaming is deafening, I'm glad that I just stayed in the car, I've needed a break from everyone having the knowledge I'm around.

My attention gets grabbed when I see a gorgeous brunette trying to push her way through the crowd to- to get out of the way? Not get to Tony?

"Wow, she's amazing, so pret-"

Shut up Natasha, now is not the time to be having a gay pani-Oh my god. Did i just call myself that? Oh god, nope. Too early, too confused, can't do this right now. I shake my head and sigh going back to my tablet to check my messages from S.H.I.E.L.D and see we've got some new info.

"what the hell can this be about no-"

My sentence gets cut short when I see the graffiti on the wall of a picture of evidence. Hydra? Surely not, we've not had any activity from them for years, not since we found the Maximoff's and had to deal with Ultron anyway. This is not good.
