Chapter 24

Y/N's POV:

We've been on vacation for a few days and I've actually been able to sleep, been able to relax and been able to enjoy myself. I'm even more glad I've been able to do it with the love of my life and our daughter. I smile to myself laying in the sun letting my already developing tan get better. I still can't get over the fact that Wanda called me momma. It's been kind of here and there but either way, I appreciate it and it makes me really happy.

I watch Nat swimming in the pool and I lower my sunglasses down my nose to get a better look. The bright red bikini moulding comfortably against her curves. The colour of the suit making all her assets stand out, she's gorgeous. Her breasts resting comfortably in the fabric of the bikini and her thighs looking like they were sculpted by gods. I take a look around watching people gawp at her and her beauty as she steps out of the pool pushing her hair out of her face strutting towards me. 

I lean up on my elbows bending one of my legs up looking at her and I smirk to myself.

"Why hello there Miss Romanoff."

She smiles cheekily pushing my leg straight back down and straddles me the coldness of the water making me shiver.

"Hello there Miss Y/L/N. I saw you reading your book, you looked cute but also lonely, so I thought I'd come and give you some company."

I smile resting my hands on her hips.

"I appreciate the thought, your company is my favourite kind of company. Also, I've been thinking all of this vacationing stuff is kind of like a honeymoon."

I watch her turn her full attention towards me.

"Really? What makes you think that?"

I shrug slightly now second-guessing my feelings about it. I bet I've scared her.

"I just, I guess it's just we've been able to spend a lot of time together without being interrupted. You haven't had any missions, I've actually been able to sleep and be comfortable. I'm sorry, I just thought that's kinda what it felt like."

"No, no. It's okay, if that's how you feel then that's okay. I was just kinda surprised."

I nod slightly and I play with the rings on her fingers. I feel 2 fingers under my chin to tilt my head up and I look her in the eyes. The green in her eyes spoke things without needing to be verbal. The boldness but the comforting different hues swirling around in a whirlpool of green.

"I love you Y/N."

"I love you too Nat."

I smile leaning forward to connect our lips and we melt into each others touch. We mould together perfectly as if our bodies were always made for each other and I rest my hands comfortably on her back. She pulls away gently stroking my cheek and I let out a breath I didn't realise I was holding and she kisses my forehead.

"Better?"

I nod relaxing. 

"Better."

"Good."

She pecks my lips once more and gets off of my lap sitting next to me leaning into my side and I kiss the top of her head holding her hand entwining our fingers. I look around and then at Nat.

"Babe, where is Wands?"

"She's in the jacuzzi over there babe." 

She points over to the jacuzzi where I see her sat with some other girls that look about her age and I smile.

"This break has been really beneficial for us, hasn't it?"

Nat nods in agreement and I rest my head on top of hers comfortingly and I hear her mumble.
