Y/N's POV:

I watch as Stark's car speeds past down the road that I'm walking and I roll my eyes kicking a small stone in front of me muttering to myself.

"Asshole. Doesn't even follow the law of the fucking road."

I keep walking to a lot of empty warehouses near the edge of the city and I glance around to ensure that I'm not being followed, that's the last thing I would want. I do one last check around me and look at the number on the warehouse. Number 28, here we are. I walk inside making sure to close the door after me and begin my walk upstairs hearing voices gradually getting louder.

Once I realise they aren't just talking, they're arguing? What the fuck could they possibly be arguing about now? I storm through the big heavy doors met with my two main employers in a screaming match and I tense my jaw.

"HEY!"

The noise of arguing immediately stops and I huff blowing a piece of hair out of my face and look at them sternly.

"Are you two stupid or something? Just screaming at each other? Anybody could hear you and then we'll have a problem! Jesus."

They both nod looking at me. Mason is the first to speak.

"You're right kiddo, we shouldn't be shouting but we have a problem."

I give him a sharp glare at the nickname he has decided for me. Kiddo? What am I, five? He clearly understands how I feel from my glare as he clears his throat whilst speaking to me again.

"Y/N, sorry, it won't happen again."

I nod. It is a bit strange when it is your employers who are scared of you but I wouldn't change it, it ensures that I am not gonna get double-crossed because they know they'd be signing their own death warrant. I look at Michael who has stayed silent.

"So Michael, are you going to speak at all?"

He quickly nods looking panicked.

"Uh, yeah. Um, so we have a problem."

I raise my eyebrow. These guys are morons I swear. I wave my hand at him in a 'carry on' kind of gesture and he quickly nods again.

"The Avengers."

My head snaps to him. The Avengers?

"What about the Avengers Michael? I saw that egotistical asshole, Stark, earlier this morning."

He suddenly looks more panicked and directs his words sharply at me.

"He didn't see you did he?"

I slowly shake my head.

"Not that I know of, why?"

He nods relieved and gets some photos up on the projector and as I glance at them I immediately recognise one of them is me. Fuck. I look at him.

"So, have the Avengers got these photos?"

He nods again and Mason sighs and looks at me.

"Luckily though, you wouldn't be able to tell that is you unless they know you or have seen you before. So as long as Tony Stark didn't see you before he caught wind of these photos we're currently safe."

I nod relieved, I'm sure he was the only one in the car, he was on the driver's side at least so that says something, right? I look at Michael and Mason and sigh.

"This means one thing boys."

They both look up at me for clarity and a smug look spreads across my face.

"Time to get started."

Natasha's POV

Me and Tony walk into the main conference room to see everyone already gathered around the table. Wait, not everyone, where's Wanda? I look at Thor concerned.

"Have you seen Wanda? Where is she?"

He gently puts his hand on my shoulder.

"There's no need to worry Natasha, she is in her room watching her television shows. We thought it would be best to talk through this with you first so you can speak to her better about it. We know that it is you and Rogers who she is closest to."

I nod understandingly. I guess he's right, as much as everybody thinks he is all brawn and no brains, he actually has a deeper understanding of people, their emotions and empathy. I watch as Steve steps up to the table putting the evidence upon the holograms around the room and sighs.

"Hydra, they're back."

Everyone looks at Steve knowing how serious this is, especially to him, Bucky and Wanda and I chew the inside of my lip zoning in and out of my thoughts worrying about Wanda but then also going back to that girl I saw outside the coffee shop. Now is honestly not the time to be daydreaming about some pretty girl. I'm brought back to earth with Clint snapping his fingers in front of my face.

"Earth to Natasha, hellooooo?"

I quickly bring my eyes up to meet his.

"Hm? Sorry? I zoned out, sorry."

I'm met by cap's eyes and I just look away knowing he is trying to read my emotions but I can't be having him doing that right now. I watch as he brings up more photos, these ones being of individuals.

"By the looks of it, there are several people involved with the restart of Hydra, the main ones being these two men and this woman right here."

He points to a kind of blurry picture of a woman in a black stealth suit, similar to mine, but with blue accents.

"We have no idea who they are but they are certainly an asset that is constantly turning up in our evidence and our information."

I look closer at the photo and I feel my face fall. It can't be. That's the girl I saw at the coffee shop this morning. I quickly interrupt Steve on his briefing.

"I saw her!"

I feel everyone's eyes turn to me and I nod walking up to the photo.

"I saw this girl, this morning at the coffee shop. She seemed like she was going somewhere in a hurry. The fact we, well I, saw her in just a random coffee shop? That means that she, and probably Hydra are much closer to home than we would like."

Everyone nods in agreement and we look at Steve ready to get our rolls.

"Red, I think a lot of this might be down to you this time."

I tilt my head confused.

"Me? Why me?"

"Because I feel like it is definitely the need of your undercover skills. Get yourself into places where you're not wanted. Get information people don't want you to have. You're the only one of us who has seen this girl, you're our best chance."

I nod agreeing.

"I think I'll know just how to find her."
