Y/N's POV:

I take a deep breath tracing patterns on Nat's arm as everyone is talking amongst themselves and I feel her move slightly to let me get more comfortable and I look up at her smiling gently. She smiles back down at me kissing the tip of my nose and the sound of footsteps turns my head towards the door and I see Okoye. I sit up a little straighter and I look at her frowning softly and she nods at me.

"Y/N, it's time."

I take a deep breath standing up letting Nat give my hand a reassuring squeeze. I look down at her helping her up off of the couch. I look at Okoye and I chew my lip a little.

"I-Is Nat okay to come? Please?"

I watch as she glances between me and Nat who instinctively grips my hand tighter to calm me down and I take a deep breath awaiting Okoye's reply.

"I mean, usually we would prefer for you to just be on your own-"

"Okoye it's fine, don't worry about me."

I look at Nat frowning upset.

"Wait what, you're not coming? Nat please!"

I watch her shake her head holding my face gently, running her thumb across my cheekbones as she rests our foreheads together.

"Y/N, this is about you, not about me or Wanda or anybody else, it's only ever been about you. You're so much stronger than you think, I know you've got this, you just need to believe in yourself. You're okay, I promise."

I nod holding her hands tight letting her give me a tender kiss before I pull away, immediately being tackled into a hug by Wanda and I hold her tight.

"You've got this momma, we'll be waiting for you as soon as you're back and we're gonna have a party and celebrate and it's all gonna be fun, I promise."

I laugh gently at Wanda's excitement and I nod kissing the top of her head stroking her hair as she hugs me even tighter.

"Wands, before I go, I have something for you."

She looks at me confused and I pull away from her to grab her woven band out of my pocket smiling gently.

"I uh, I made you this, I made your mother one too. This is my way of making sure we all have a part of each other, a link between us. I get you kids nowadays have different fashion trends and whatever so I understand if you don't wanna wear it or whate-"

She throws her arms around me again resting her head on my shoulder and I kiss the top of her head laughing gently smiling wide.

"Momma I love it, can you put it on now? The same wrist as mom's?"

I nod gently wrapping the bracelet around her left wrist and I tie it smiling gently at her.

"There we go."

She smiles at me and then moves to stand next to Nat as they both give me one last tight hug and I grip their tops taking a shaky breath as I pull away. I turn to face Okoye and she smiles gently as I nod at her.

"I'm ready."

She smiles leading the way and I take one last look at Nat and Wanda as I walk out of the room, closing the door after me. I follow Okoye to the lake where there is a little campfire and I kneel in front of it when asked and I take a deep breath looking at her.
