ch. 2: tree house

At rosewood high school Ava, Amanda, and Dylan are are at Amanda's locker

'Are you guys going to invite them to the tree house?' Dylan asks, they look at each other then at Dylan

'It might be a little bit too soon for Sava but Claire will be up for it' Amanda says

'Up for what?' Claire asks, she walks up to them, they look at her

'Oh um we are headed to the tree house after school and we was thinking about inviting you guys but Amanda said that it might too early for Savannah but maybe not you' Ava says

'Ah, yeah probably Sava but I'll ask her later and let you guys know' Claire says, then the bell rings

'Save by the bell' Ava says, they go to their classes

Later that night Ava, Amanda and Claire are at the tree house they are talking and laughing

'Oh man, we had good times in this place' Claire says, she gets up and walks around, starts remember things

'Yeah we have' Ava says, as she looks around the room too remember things too

'I own you apology Claire about earlier' Ava says, Claire and Amanda looks at her

'For what?' Claire says, she walks up to her and sits down in front of her

'For saying that it might be too early for Savannah but not you, i know that Abby's death effective you too' Ava says, Claire smiles

'You don't have to apologize because you're right her death did effect me but not as bad as Sava, she was a mess after Abby's death' Claire says, Ava smiles

'That makes me feel better that you're not upset with me' Ava says, Claire smiles

'I could never be mad at you' Claire says, she kisses her on the forehead, Ava smiles

'Speaking of Sava, if she's not here then where she is at?' Amanda asks

'She's visiting Abby's grave and pay her respects since she couldn't because we moved' Claire says

'I go there every Sunday' Amanda says

'I try to go when I can between school and work, i just hope Abby understands that' Ava says, Claire looks at her

'She does trust me, she does' Claire says

'Anybody wanna play a board game or cards' Amanda says

'Uno?' Ava asks, Claire smiles

'Sure' Claire says, Ava gets the uno box out

'Best out of three, like always' Ava says

'Yeah' Amanda says

It's getting late Claire took Ava home while Amanda is cleaning up then she hears footsteps coming up the steps

'Ava I said that...' Amanda starts saying, before she turns around and sees Savannah

'Hey' Amanda says

'Hi' Savannah says, she walks towards her

'How you feeling?' Amanda asks

'Actually a lot better since now that I visited Abby's grave and paid my respects' Savannah says, Amanda smiles

'I can see that you're trying to heal and move from her death' Amanda says

'Yeah, its not easy but who said that grieving was easy' Savannah says

'Ava said I just hope Abby understands that I can't visit everyday or Sunday like Amanda does because of school, home, and work' Amanda says, Savannah looks at her

'Of course she understands that, she's always going to be with her no matter what, with all of us' Savannah says, Amanda sits down the round thing seat

'Do you even know what made her dad snap that night?' Amanda asks, Savannah walks up to her and sits down beside her

'Honestly she told me stories about him being mental hospitals in the past something must have triggered him to kill them' Savannah says

'Oh my god' Amanda says, she puts her hands over her face and Savannah looks around the room, Amanda puts her hands down

'Well I mind as well say this that way you know but ever since we hugged at the bowling alley I develop feelings for you but i know that you're not ready to date just yet I just thought that you should know where I Stand at, i respect your grieving process take all the time you want I can wait that is if you want to date me when your ready to date' Amanda says, Savannah smiles and looks at her

'Thank you for respecting my grieving process, i think that I'll date here soon whenever I'm ready and I felt something too when we hug that night but when I am ready to date you'll be the first person that I'll take a chance on' Savannah says, Amanda smiles

'I just took Ava's advice and it work out good' Amanda says

'Well either you took her advice or not, i was still going to ask you out when I was ready to date so' Savannah says, Amanda blushes

'Now lets clean thus place up before Abby's ghost kills us' Savannah says, she gets up and takes the trash bag from Amanda's hand

'Hey do you think that Abby will be ok with us dating?' Amanda asks, Savannah looks at her

'I think she will be, before she died we only dated for a couple of months I think that's what is making my grief easier because i didn't get too attached to her, not in a bad way but like i can move on fast from the grief, do you get what I'm getting at?' Savannah asks, Amanda smiles and gets up

'Yeah I do, the faster you move on from the grief the easier it will be' Amanda says

'I know that it sounds selfish on my part but I have grieving for a year now but I think Abby will want me to move on by now, now I'm not saying that I didn't care about her I did and she will always have a place in my heart for her just like you guys with her' Savannah says

'Right, i get that' Amanda says, Savannah smiles

'Ok let's start cleaning because the hairs on the back of my neck are starting to stand up' Savannah says, Amanda laughs

'Ok' Amanda says, they both clans up the tree house and then leaves
