(Y/N)'s POV

I just finished work and im now heading over to Haven. I pushed the hidden button and revealed the door. It scanned me but then...

Door "You are not welcome..."

What? Is this thing busted or somwthing?

I walked away, letting the hidden door be closed by the wall again and repeated the cycle.

Door "you are not welcome..."

(Y/N) "what the heck is wrong with this stupid thing?"

Huh? Footsteps...

I looked to my right and saw Nerozu come out a corner with two other people beside him, both of which wore masks and put the hoods of their uniforms on so i couldn't see their faces.

They didn't say anything, but i can tell the old man has something in mind.

(Y/N) "Nerozu. Is something wrong?"

The old man didn't answer for a while, he just looked at me. For whatever reason the air feels suffocatingly thin and tension hung around it.

(Y/N) "I assume you know why the door isn't opening for me?"

Again, the old man stood silent. But then... i felt a presence from behind me. I turned to see someone wearin a brotherhood uniform charging at me with a blade! I dodged and put my foot out, tripping the person over. I looked back at Nerozu and the two people accompanying him activated their kagunes and attacked. One of them shot red crystals at me as the other charged with a single red tail.

I activated my own kagune and defended myself against the melee fighter. Thankfully, he only has one while i have multiple so i was able to push him away. But then there's the crystal-shooter. She fired bullet hell on me as i was cornered and could only take the hits.

Finally having enough, i coiled my kagune behind me into a spring of sorts and shot myself forward. Using my head to crash into the shooter's stomach.

She was knocked down and i pinned her hands to the ground with my boot while keeping the melee fighters chocked with my kagune. But where's the old-

Bzzt!

(Y/N) "agh!!"

A huge current of electricity flowed through me making my nerves feel like their about to jump out my body. Before i knew it, i was laying on the ground unable to move with my vision hazy and slowly succumbing to darkness...

*Timeskip*

"This is outrageous! (Y/N) couldn't have done it!"

That's... Ken's voice...?

"Yeah! He just came back!"

And that's... Juuzou's...

I slowly opened my eyes to see many people gathered around me and they all seem to be arguing over something.

(Y/N) "what's... going on...?"

Ken, Juuzou, and Bertha stopped their yelling at Nerozu and looked over to me.

I then felt someone gently grab me from behind before perching me up to a sitting position.

Rain "slowly... you're okay."

Ken and Juuzou quickly ran over and kneeled to me while Bertha stayed with Nerozu... Nerozu...!

(Y/N) "old man! What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

Rain "hey! Easy, easy..."

Rain tried to calm me down as Ken and Juuzou looked at me with a concerned glare.
