Boyfriend

(Y/N)'s POV

I walked to the hidden door to the underground Haven and after the camera scanned me, the door opened saying the words 'Welcome Home' in a deep dark voice. I walked in and walked through a rather long hallway filled with holes on the roof. This is a security measure for anyone that isn't welcome in our home.

I walked past the two metal doors at the end of the hallway of death and the doors closed and the platform descended underground. After a few seconds, the elevator stopped and the door opened again to reveal the home of my organization.

An underground bunker with a series of rooms that also connect to some naturally forming caves. The place is massive. Spaning across several hundred meters and having more than 40 rooms in total.

Only a few seconds after i walked through the elevator door, i could hear a very familiar voice calling out my name.

"(YYYYYYYY/NNNNNNN)!!!!!!"

To which i replied....

"JUUUUZZZOOOOOUUU!!!!!!"

I ran to my bestfriend and he did the same and ran towards me. He jumped me and i fell to the floor laughing as he hugged me tightly and we rolled around the floor.

(Y/N) "Did you really miss me that badly?"

Juuzou "Of course i did! You were gone for a long time °^°" Juuzou said while pouting.

(Y/N) "I was here yesterday!" We both laughed at our demeanor. Juuzou joined us awhile back after we captured him for trying to kill one of our members, Bertha - who is also a good friend of mine.

I know it's not the best way to get a friend but hey, i've made deals on shakier grounds than that.

Im sorry i included Juuzou here when he was supposed to be killing ghouls, but i just cant not have him in the group, he's too cute.

Juuzou "so how was your contract? Who was it again? Uhh... demon? No wait, dont tell me - Damian!"

(Y/N) "heh. Bastard's tougher than i was anticipating... i knew he was a special operative for the Ghoul Investigators but he was nothing i couldnt handle."

Juuzou "ooh how did you kill him? Tell me - tell me!"

Timeskip to after the storytelling

Juuzou "Wooaahhh"

(Y/N) "Anyway, i need to go. I have a few more errands to run."

Juuzou "Kay! See ya!!"

Welp. Time to check if i have another contract.

Oh... did i forget to mention?

I am part of an organization called The Brother of Shadows. We are a human and ghoul assassin organization consisting of 16 lower-ranked members and 5 leading members, bringing the number to 21 in total.

The current leader of this organization is my elder brother Goro (L/N), but since he is often busy with running the East Asian Trading Company, Bertha is the Acting Leader and the one who runs the operations.

I mentioned that there are 5 leading members, Bertha and my brother are two of them and the other three is Me, Gabel, and Nerozu.

Our organization has it's headquarters underground and hidden away from prying eyes. Our goal is simply to make a fufiling life. We consider this organization as our family and all 21 of us respects and cares for eachother. We dedicate our underground base which we call Haven as a sanctuary where we can live in peace with eachother, human or ghoul.

But... that still doesn't change the fact that we are killers. And to be honest, i dont even think most of us are bothered with that. In fact, some of us - myself included, take pride in our role as blades in the dark. We ravish each kill and endulge ourselves with the euphoria brought by seeing our victim's life leave their body. For It is our calling...

Timeskip

Ken's POV

Im currently sitting beside (Y/N) on a bench at the harbour, where we had our first date just a week ago. Our hands were overlapping on top of eachother as we both stared into the sunset. The air was warm but comforting. The sounds of seaguls flying in the distance gave an occasional break to the song of the passing winds.

Ken "Hey,(Y/N)..."

(Y/N) "Hm?"

Ken "Do you have parents?"

(Y/N) looked at me with a slight confusion for a few seconds before answering.

(Y/N) "No... they died when i was only 12."

Ken "so thats... 6 years ago?"

(Y/N) "mhm. My brother took control of their company after that. He was 20 at the time.... what about you?"

Him returning the question to me wasn't something i wanted but i guess it should have been expected considering i was the one who asked first.

Ken "No.... My dad left us when i was still a baby and my mom... my mom died after overworking herself when i was 10..."

Memories of my past flooded my head. My grip on his hand grew tighter as painful thoughts stabbed at me.

Before i knew it, a hand landed on my cheek and slowly caressed it. I looked over to (Y/N) who had worry written all over his gaze. He looked at me with sympathy and a sadness of his own.

I snapped out of my thoughts and lifted my hand up slowly to meet his. I rubbed slowly at his small, soft hands and held it as i pulled it off my cheek and back down to the bench.

I looked at him with a slight melancholic smile as i chuckled and said

Ken "I killed the mood didn't i?"

(Y/N) "Butchered it." He said back to me, a small smile returning to his face. We both laughed together so heartily that i almost forgot about all the depressing stuff i was talking about. Oh (Y/N)... what did i ever do to deserve you...?

As he was slowly stopping his laughter, i said to him

Ken "(Y/N).... thank you... i know that we've only been on one date but i dont think i can wait any longer. I hated myself. I hated everything. I had no reason to be alive, and yet i still walked aimlessly until... until that night i found you... you gave me purpose and something i havent felt for a long time... love."

(Y/N) looked shock and awestruck at my words. Well, it's now or never Ken!

Ken "(Y/N)... this may be a bit rushed but... will you... be my boyfriend?"

His smile grew bigger and bigger and before i even heard an answer from him. I felt his arms wrapped around my neck. I think i know where this is going...

We looked at eachother passionately as our faces came closer and closer until... we kissed.

Time stopped as i gave all of my attention to him and only him, My (Y/N), My briliant light, My glimering star, My... boyfriend...

Oh good lord that last part was so cheesy. im sorry you had to go throug that. Im not used to writing these sorts of scenes and to be honest this is my first time making it.
