Bad Feeling

(Y/N)'s POV

It's been two weeks since our little war started. So far we've been winning but i have a bad feeling in my gut.

After repeated interogation and torture session, Touka finally spilled some information about six more possible members. Lily and Gabel are on their way to collect three of them and Kaiyo along with Ken are collecting the other three.

Im standing in front of a strapped up Touka with the old man next to me. I've been doing most of the torture and interogating and Nerozu's here to make sure she doesn't try to do anything stupid.

Touka "heh."

Nerozu and i looked at our prisoner who's looking down at the floor wit a sickly grin.

(Y/N) "what's so funny?"

Touka "..."

I walked up to her and hit her face. Blood spat out from her mouth that only serves to add to the already very visible pool of gore around her.

Touka "..."

(Y/N) "still not talking huh...? Perhaps you want another visit to the tiger bench?"

She flinched at the mention of the bench.

Touka "..."

(Y/N) "fine then."

I was about to grab her when i was suddenly stopped by Nerozu who grabbed my arm. I stood in my place as the old man got closer and leaned closer to her face.

He then slowly turned his face back.

(Y/N) "what is it, gramps?"

He looked straight at me with distress and worry written all over his face.

Nerozu "call the others. There's something at play here."

I pulled out my phone and quickly went to Ken's contact and called.

(Y/N) "Ken? How are things going?"

Ken "fine? We got the first guy. Going to the second one now."

(Y/N) "keep an eye out. Nerozu thinks she's hiding something..."

Ken "got it."

I turned off his call and dialed Lily next.

(Y/N) "Lily? Everything-"

*bang!*

(Y/N) "- was that a gunahot?!"

Lily "a few complications but otherwise fine. We're on our way to the third target."

*bang!*

Lily "yep! We're fine! Okay now bye!"

She turned off her call. Gabel is there so i doubt guns is gonna be a problem. But i'll check up on Goro just in case.

(Y/N) "Lily and Gabel are having some company but otherwise everything's fine. I'll go check on my brother."

Nerozu "very well..."

I left the torture room and made my way to our surveillance room. Goro stood next to another brotherhood member as they monitor everything.

(Y/N) "how are they?"

Goro "both cars are going to their designated route. Lily and Gabel's car seems to be takin a few different turns but they're still going to the objectives."

(Y/N) "yeah, they're being shot."

Goro "bulletproof car. They'll be fine."

For some reason i still have this bad feeling in my gut... *sigh* let's just hope it's a false alarm...

*An Hour Later*

Both cars have returned with 5 of 6 targets. One of Ken's targets killed shot himself before getting captured.

The Black Hand gathered outside the torture room. Nerozu stood infront of us as he looked deep in thought.

Nerozu "All of you must be cautious. The girl gave us some information but not everything."

Bertha "we should keep all lower-ranked members in Haven. They lack experience and could easily fall prey to agents of the Mark."

Gabel "i agree with Bertha. Having them here would make them easier to both monitor and protect."

I then spoke in a hushed tone.

(Y/N) "just between the five of us. I noticed someone with suspicious behaviour. Someone's been going into our archives and pulled out some data. There were records of a hard-drive being pluged in."

Gabel spoke quickly after i said that.

Gabel "that's impossible. Only the Black Hand can pull out anything from the archives."

(Y/N) "not if they have the access key."

Gabel "access key that only the members of the Black Hand have."

(Y/N) "but we don't have just one, do we?"

Everyone became quiet at the point i made. Some members of the Black Hand have more than one access key. I have two. One in my manor and the other in my assassination suit. I know for a fact that Gabel has more than one too.

Nerozu "whatever the case... keep an eye open. And (Y/N) is right, we are very much capable of being betrayed. Be mindful of who you talk to and what information goes out..."

We were dismissed. I told Ken to not go out of Haven yet while Goro and I went back to my manor. After making it to my room, i still had an itching feeling down in my gut. I know that every phone call and message that enters Haven is monitored so im not sure how a spy might get in. Unless....

They've been there for long.....
