(This story is not gonna follow the actual anime, im just using the characters and some of the plot points. I'll be adding some new characters and a new organization entirely but regardless, i hope you enjoy.)
Rejected and hated... that's all Ken ev...
I was sweeping the café's kitchen like i do every morning, can't be making food at a dirty kitchen. I looked outside the wide hole on the wall that is used to move orders from the kitchen to the waiters, to see that my cute new boyfriend and Rain are chatting which they do almost every day but this one is... different. They were quiet and cautiou, making sure i wasnt observing and then continuing to talk. I couldn't hear what they were saying, was it a prank? Given that both Rain and (Y/N) are complete trolls i wouldn't be suprised. Regardless, i ignored them and went on with the sweeping, im sure i'll find out eventualy.
After awhile, Rain came walking in the kitchen, smiling at me. I could tell that he is hiding something behind that smile. He seems genuinely happy but there is something else.
A few more seconds and (Y/N) walked in the kitchen. He said that he needs to go to work and that he'll come back later at my break time which is around 11:15. I nodded and we shared a short kiss before he went off, waving happily at me and Rain as he went out the café (i forgot Rain was there)
Rain looked at me with a knowing smirk and i blished a little before giving him a playful punch on the shoulder and returning to my work.
Timeskip 11:17
Ken "aahhh finaly some time off." I say as i slounched deep into the couch at the 'employees only' room to take my 15 minute break. Hmm.. i wonder where (Y/N) is, he said he'd be-
(Y/N)"Hello?"
Well speaking of the Devil, there he is.
I stood up and walked up to him. I grabbed his waist as i looked down and gave him another quick kiss. This is becoming a habit, but hey! Im not complaining.
(Y/N) "Come on! I have something to show you!"
He started pulling my arm
Ken "H-hey! Im still at work!"
(Y/N) "I already told your boss. You're taking the rest of the day off"
Ken "And my pay?"
(Y/N) "oh for crying out-! Look, i'll pay you double if i have to just come with me!"
Ken "Okay okay jeez..."
(Y/N) continued to pull my arm until i was out of the employees only room. We recieved a few glares from the customer but i really didnt care, seeing how (Y/N) is dragging me outside of the café, i quickly turned over to Rain and said to him i'll be going away for awhile, he responded with a simple thumbs-up.
Outside was (Y/N)'s car with his driver at the front, the same one that picked him up the first day i met him and the one that picks him up everyday too. I walked in - or to be precise, (Y/N) shoved me in and then sat next to me.
The door closed, and the driver hit the gas, we were off.
Ken "So what's this big suprise anyway?"
(Y/N) was giggling and moving around uncontrolably. He looked like a 10 year old who's parents just said christmas came early... or that their school burnt down.
(Y/N) "Well... you told me how you missed having a family right?
Wait. Is he asking us to-?
(Y/N) "so i wanted to invite you over to mine!"
Oh! Oh okay! Calm down Ken! You've only been his boyfriend for a day, it's still too soon to do that.
Ken "What like... invite me to your house?"
(Y/N) "well.. its not a house but it is home. You'll see when we get there, shouldnt be long though hee hee"
What a weird kid... heh...
The driver took us to what seemed to be a ruin. The place was a large open grassy field with what looks to once be a fortress in the middle but it's now destroyed and most of it isn't intact anymore. Hell, i dont even see a door.
Ken "Sooo what's so special about this place?"
(Y/N) "follow heeheehee"
(Y/N) hopped and skipped around and i followed him - err, walking normaly of course. He eventualy led me to a destroyed tower that was half-sunken into the ground. He went in and i did the same. (Y/N) felt around the stone-brick wall until he pushed one of it, and part of the wall opened revealing a secret passage. He gestured his hand to continue following him and so i did.
Behind the wall was a short passage way, about 2 meters that ended with a sinister looking door. The door was metal but black in colour with carvings on it, a symbol of an eye made of red paint was the prominent feature of the door. The eye shone a red light up and down (Y/N) and then opened, saying the words 'Welcome home' in a deep and sinister voice.
After the door, we walked through a long hallway and i could see holes on the ceiling which i assume are for bullets and at the end, we entered an elevator. I was starting to feel nervous but all that went away after i felt a hand wrapped around mine. I looked to my side and slightly downwards and my eyes met my lover's beautiful (e/c) ones. I smiled at him, i trust him, and i know that he wont do anything to harm me.
The elevator ride ended, and we entered what looked like a simple lounge room. There was a carpet in the middle with two sofas on each side, and a door next to said sofas with another door directly infront of me. nothing much other than that. (Y/N) continued to lead me through the door infront of me and i saw a beautifully decorated lounge room.

As we entered, i saw Goro and many others looking at us and is that... Juuzou?! Well, i wasnt expecting him here... what is this place.
Suddenly, (Y/N) spoke. He gestured his hand towards them and said.
(Y/N) "Ken... this, me included is the Brotherhood of Shadows."
I flinched at the name. The Brotherhood of Shadows are an infamous group of assassins so feared and respected that even the Aogiri didn't dare to mess with them.
Ken "The Brotherhood...."
(Y/N) "This is my family. We are not bound by the same bloodline but we are all family here... and... i want you to be part of it."
I looked at my boyfriend. He held both my hands and looked at me straight in the eyes, his (e/c) orbs glimered and sparkled with hopefulness.
Ken "To join the Brotherhood of Shadows..."
(Y/N) "It's not just an organization, Ken. It's family... i know that this is so sudden but i want to ask you to join us."
