Initiate

(Y/N)'s POV

I held my boyfriend's hand as Bertha and I gave him a tour of Haven. He hasn't met everyone yet and im sure he will get to see some familiar places here. Our tour took 15 minutes as Bertha also explained the purpouses of said rooms. Ken looked slightly nervous but then again who wouldn't? You're touring an ASSASSIN'S BASE of course you'd be nervous. I know i was when i first got here.

After the tour, Bertha excused herself and went to arrange Ken's new contracts for his initiation. I took Ken over to the living quarters and went into his room along with him. The room was about 3,5 × 3,5 meters and 4 meters. The room had an upper loft with a bed and a small cupboard infront of the bed. Below there was a coffee table at the center of the room with a sofa. At the left wall was a table with a mirror and a chair with a small cupboard next to it, the right wall had a bookshelf and at the back wall were two large wardrobes.

The room looked very cozy and had an air conditioner too. I walked over and tried the sofa only to immediately sink into it. It was soft and comforting, the whole room looked comfortable. I sometimes forge that Goro bought the finest furnitures he can for even the newer members of the organization. I still remember my first night in this bedroom. Although my room in Haven is a lot bigger given that im part of the Black Hand, i sometimes miss the smaller quarters.

I looked over to my boyfriend who was inspecting the bookshelves, i forgot he liked to read. After that, he diceded to join me by the sofa. He sat down and sank into the comfy cushions and rested his head on the sofa.

(Y/N) "How's the room?"

Ken "Looks great. Way better than my old appartment."

(Y/N) "will you be staying here?"

Ken "Huh? Dont i have to?"

(Y/N) "Not really, some of us prefer to live at our own homes but come here whenever they need to. It really is just a choice."

Ken looked at the ceiling and rolled his head on the sofa.

Ken "hmm... i dunno... i'll take some time to think about it."

I smiled at him, im glad that he accepted to join and im even happier that he's beginig to warm up to the place.

Seeing as it's already night, i left him to return to my own room. I usualy stay at my own house but i decided that for as long as Ken is still in his initiation phase, i will stay here at Haven to oversee and guide him.

I told him to get some rest and sleep early as tomorow his initiation into the group will begin and he will have a long day to go through. He nodded, gave me a short hug and wished me goodnight to which i did the same to him.

Ken's POV

"Ahhhh" i layed down on my new bed. Im not sure if im gonna stay here, but i think it's best that i do for now.

Welp. Looks like im part of an assassin organization now. Man, my jobs take real drastic leaps. First i was a student  then a terrorist, then a barista, and now im an assassin.

Ah well... as long as (Y/N) is happy, i dont care... besides, from what i saw, these guys treat eachother like family. It'll be nice to have that again.

Alright, enough thinking, Ken! Like (Y/N) said, you got a long day ahead of you, best get some sleep.
