Unicorns? Murder?!

(Y/N)'s POV.

I walked back out the meeting room and tried to find Ken. The actual announcement will be given tomorrow but i think i should let Ken know first.

After roamjng around Haven for a bit, i eventually found him talking to Lily on one of the coridors. I walked up to them which prompt both of them to greet me.

Ken "(Y/N) You're back."

Lily "hey (Y/N)! Sooo how was the meeting?"

(Y/N) "umm... depending on where you stand with the Mark of Bane, i have bad news or good news."

Lily "huh?"

Ken "what is it?"

I took a deep breath.

(Y/N) "okay. I'll tell you but don't spread this around. The actual announcement will be given tomorrow."

Lily "okay...?"

(Y/N) "we're declaring war on the Mark of Bane again."

Ken "what?!"

(Y/N) "i tried to make the old man see reason but he wouldn't! He was hell bent on having them eradicated!"

Ken "old man?"

Lily "Nerozu. The previous guild leader. I guess it would make sense. Afterall, his father was killed by members of The Mark during their first guild war."

Ken "o-oh..."

I saw the uncertainty in Ken's eyes so i walked up to him and held his shoulder. Ken then looked directly at me.

(Y/N) "Ken. Since she's in there, i understand if you don't want to join the war. But please don't get in the way of the others or force them to call it off. We're trying to minimalize casualties."

Ken "don't worry about me. I understand. And i'll join the war."

(Y/N) "are you sure? That means you'll have to kill her on sight."

Ken "yes, im sure. That life is long behind me now. My family is you and the Brotherhood."

I gave Ken a hug, ignoring the 'awww' given by Lily who was still watching. It was a sweet moment, well that is until-

Juuzou "WAAAA!! I wanna hug too!!"

Juuzou ran from behind me and pulled me off of Ken, then hugging me as if i was some sort of pillow.

Juuzou "(Y/N) is my bestfriend, only i can get unlimited hugs from him!

(Y/N) "Juuzou, Ken is my boyfiend. I am allowed to give unlimited hugs to him too."

Juuzou "WAAAA! NO FAIR!!"

Ken and Lily just laughed at us as Juuzou kept on hugging me like there is no tomorrow. He then lifted me up slightly and began walking away.

Still in Juuzou's bear hug, i waved my hands (just the hands since Juuzou locked the arms in place) and said a wuick goodbye as Juuzou turned the corner and removed the two from my sight.

*a few minutes later*

Juuzou kept hugging me and walked all the way to one of Haven's small lounge room with a big TV, couch, and big pillows on the floor along with a coffee table and a bowl of snacks. We call this place the Movie Room. Because we use it to watch movies - obviously.

After kicking the door open and lifting me inside, Juuzou then placed me on the sofa and scooted his way next to me. We're equal height so it looked more cute than romantic.

He then lulled the remote from inside the couch and began going about the various downloaded movies in the TV in sections named like: Horror, Action, History, Juuzou & (Y/N) Movies and Adult films. Honestly im not sure who in the world made a section of that on the bloody TV but i don't think i wanna know.

Juuzou then selected the 'Juuzou & (Y/N) Movies' which are mostly filled with cartoons and murder. Yeah i know that's one end of the spectrum to the other but we like both okay? Don't judge.

Juuzou "here! See? I asked Gabel to help download this!"

Juuzou scrolled to a movie about unicorns.

(Y/N) "didn't we already watch unicorns last week?"

Juuzou "yeah but i wanna watch it again!"

(Y/N) "no! It's gonna get boring!"

Juuzou "well what do you want to watch?"

(Y/N) "how about this one? It's called Bloodbath. Two hours of people killing eachother, lots of gore."

Juuzou "awww but i wanna watch Unicorns!"

(Y/N) "we'll watch murder now, we can watch unicorns next week."

Juuzou "unicorns!"

(Y/N) "murder."

Juuzou "unicorns!!"

(Y/N) "murder!"

Juuzou "UNICOOORRNNSS!!"

(Y/N) "MURRDDEEERRRR!!!"

*Outside the movie room*
No one's POV

Kaiyo and Rain were standing around near the movie room, enjoying their day and chatting. Rain was congratulating Kaiyo on finally confessing to his boyfriend that he was a ghoul. To both their surprise, his boyfriend already knew and took Kaiyo's confession happily.

After their chat, Rain asked Kiyo to join him on watching a movie, unbenounced to the latter was that the movie in Rain's mind was... 'to be enjoyed alone'

But alas, when they entered, the movie room was occupied by two young adults who were munching on popcorn.

Rain "hey guys."

(Y/N) "sup."

Juuzou "Heyo."

Rain "so whatcha watchin'?"

(Y/N) "it's a movie about a lonely but wealthy unicorn who entered highschool full of other normal horses. She was always alone and spending most of her time with games that she brought from home, that is until one day when she met another unicorn who wanted to be her friend. For the next few months they were inseperable and the lonely unicorn finally felt happy. Then one day, the lonely unicorn's friend told them about a fun new place that opened up, the lonely unicorn followed her friend without question, but then the friend stopped once they reached a dark alley. The lonely unicorn asked where the place is but then the friend pulls out a broken shard of glass and shanks the lonely unicorn in the kidneys and takes all her money. Leaving her there in pain to die."

Kaiyo "(;⚆ / __\ ⚆)"

Rain "(;ಠ___ಠ)"

Then Juuzou stopped eating popcorn as he finally finished processing what (Y/N) said.

Juuzou "but... we're watching Toy Story?"

(Y/N) "oh are we? Huh... that must have been some other memory then. Ignore what i said."

As Juuzou and (Y/N) returned to watch their movie happily, there was only one thing in both Kaiyo and Rain's mind:

K & R "something happened to him in his childhood..."

Yaay and this chapter is doneee! I thought to give a bit of morbid comedy because the next few chapters aren't gonna be so hunky-dory. So enjoy the smiles while you can because if you've grown to like some of the characters i've introduced, just be ready to say goodbye.
