(Y/N)'s POV

After waiting for about 15 minutes, Gabel finally arrived. I invited him to sit with me and tell me what info he dug up about this ghoul woman.

(Y/N) "im assuming this is a personal matter?"

Gabel "yeah. Just... be cool alright? We need to handle this carefully."

(Y/N) "tell me what it is."

Gabel "the ghoul that you saw is Touka Kirishima. She's a ghoul who worked for the Aogiri for a few years."

(Y/N) "wait... the Aogiri? Than that means..."

Gabel "Kaneki knows her. In fact, as my sources indicate, they were very close back then. So close in fact that Kaneki may have done his 'first time' with her."

My face contorted and my teeth gritted with every word that came out of his mouth.

Gabel "before i continue, i ask that you please try to talk this over with Kaneki instead of just killing him. I know you have a nasty habit of murdering anything that inconvenience you."

(Y/N) "oh i was considering that first option alright. But sure, i'll talk to him. See what he has to say in defence. Maybe then i'll consider not pulling out his intestines through his mouth."

Gabel "*sigh* well i guess i'll just have to keep an eye on you two."

(Y/N) "what else do you know about the woman?"

Gabel "she's now part of a different assassin organization called the Mark of Bane."

(Y/N) "Bane. Bane. Why does that sound so familiar?"

Gabel "Bane was the man who started the most successful assassin organization in history. About 100 years ago, the group splintered into two, one side who decided to keep Bane's pure ghoul ideals and another who accepts humans and half-ghouls. Respectively, the Mark of Bane and the Brotherhood of Shadows."

(Y/N) "Oooh that's right. And then a big fight happened between the Mark and the Brotherhood and we won."

Gabel "yes. And for a long time we thought they were gone completely but it looks like they're building back up to challange our throne once again."

(Y/N) "let them try! We stomped them once, we can do it again!"

Gabel "alright then... you should head back to bed, clear your mind from all of this. I'll call in a meeting tomorrow with the others, we'll discuss how to deal with the Mark. As for you and Kaneki..."

(Y/N) "i'll talk to him. Im not happy about it but i'll try to restrain myself."

Gabel "good. Welp. I'll be heading home now."

Gabel said as he stood up and streatched.

(Y/N) "it's midnight. Why not stay here? We can go to the Brotherhood together tomorrow."

Gabel "nah. Lily is at my house. Can't have her waiting."

(Y/N) "Oh oka- wait what?"

Gabel "yeah. Didn't you hear? We're dating now."

(Y/N) "what?! When did that happen?!"

Gabel "hmm... 2 days ago?"

(Y/N) "......"

(Y/N) "you're kidding me. 2 days and she's already at your place? No way. You're lying."

Gabel "bet on it."

(Y/N) "i bet 5000 yen that you're lying."

A devilish smirk made it's way to Gabel's face. He pulled out his phone and seems to be making a call.

Lily "...hello?..."

That's Lily's voice! And Gabel then faced the phone to me and i saw Lily just woken up.

Gabel "sorry to wake you babe but could you confirm to (Y/N) that you're in my place."

Lily giggled and then showed the phone around. I saw a messy room with a computer on the dest at the corner. The room itself was painted blue and the computer desk had A LOT of canned drinks. Yep. That's Gabel's room alright.

I begrudgingly pulled grabbed my wallet and pulled out 5 sheets of 1000 yen and handed it to Gabel. His face was so smug that i wanted to punch it in.

Gabel "bad betting habits friend, bad betting habits..."

(Y/N) "whatever. Go home already, i wanna sleep."

Gabel "hahaha alright alright. I took your money and now im going. See ya."

(Y/N) "ass..."

*The Next Morning*
At Haven

I saw Ken sitting at the corner in the library with no one else in sight (no surprises there). I walked over to him and sat down. As usual, he hasn't noticed me yet. I stayed quiet for a few minutes until he finally turned to look around and jumped when he finally saw me sitting there.

Ken "...AAH!! Goddamnit! Say something when you're there! Scared the crap out of me."

I gave him a few seconds to regain his composure. And when he finally did, he looked at me worriedly.

Ken "is... something wrong? You're usually the first to talk after i see you."

I took a deep breath. This is gonna be a tough topic.

(Y/N) "Ken... i recently got info that the ghoul who stole our kill is named Touka Kirishima."

Ken flinched at the mention of the name.

(Y/N) "an ex-Aogiri. And from what i gathered, someone you were very intimate with." I cocked an eyebrow as i said those last few words.

Ken immediately began to stutter. I looked into his eyes to make sure everything he says is true.

Ken "(Y-Y/N) i... i didn't... (Y/N), i have no more connections with her, i love you really."

(Y/N) "*sigh*... alright... you're telling the truth..."

I slounched down to my seat.

Ken "do you... do you hate me now...?"

(Y/N) "no im just... im angry at her! She took our kill and then made me feel all sorts of things when i got the news about you two!"

Ken then walked over to me and hugged me. It took me a few seconds but i hugged him back.

Ken "this won't change anything between us. Im all yours, i promise..."

I heard the door open and look past Ken's shoulder only to see Gabel.

Gabel "sorry to interrupt. (Y/N) the meeting is about to start."

(Y/N) "be there in 5 minutes."

Gabel "alright." He then walked back out the room and closed the door.

Ken "meeting? What meeting?"

(Y/N) "Black Hand. Touka is part of a rival assassin group called The Mark of Bane. We used to be one group up until Nerozu's father lead the rebelion against Bane and formed The Brotherhood."

Ken "why split up in the first place ?"

(Y/N) "Bane wanted a world only inhabitted by ghouls. Obviously not everyone liked the idea so they fractured and started a war on eachother. In the end, only The Brotherhood was left standing. Or at least- that's what we thought."

Ken paused for a few minutes before gripping my shoulders and looking at me in the eye.

Ken "alright. Go to that meeting, and whatever the decision is, just remember that i love you. Okay?"

I couldn't help but smile at him.

(Y/N) "okay..."

I gave Ken a quick kiss before heading out the room. Well things are surely getting interesting...
