It has been about a month now. My band and I have written a few songs since I had broken up with Yu. Merritt had finally messaged me back. We had met up about a week ago and had broken up, but he did decide to remain friends with me which I was fine with. Peyton made him promise to still hangout and play with him when he could and he had a greed. I had texted Bill and Tom about what had happened and they were fine with it, because I was not upset and they had no hard feelings against Merritt.
Anyway, I was heading home from practice and thankfully Bill said he could watch Peyton since he didn't have to be in the studio today. I have been on edge lately though, ever since I won the case with Yu I haven't really been myself. I just had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. I just didn't know what yet?
I hurried home and once I was inside I slammed the door. I then locked the doors and shut the curtains. I know I am probably being paranoid, but since that court day I have been very cautious. I don't know if Yu was going to try anything funny to try and get out of jail. I had to be ready in case he tried something. I had to make sure that Peyton and I were safe. What could I do though? I thought. I then sat down on the couch and then began to rock back and forth anxiously to the point where I got tired and ended up falling asleep.
