Courtney's POV
Yu's lawyer put me on the stand and I started to get nervous. What would he ask me? Would he make me out to be a bad mother? I can't lose my son. I just can't. I thought to myself.
"Ms. Kaulitz I have been told by my client that you have been denying him the right to see his child is that correct?"
"Yes but-" I began to say but was cut off.
"Denying a father to see his child is wrong wouldn't you agree?"
"Yes but-"
I was cut off once more by Yu's lawyer.
"And yet you still refuse to let your boyfriend see his child?"
"Ex-boyfriend and I refuse to let my child be around someone who hits and rapes their child's mother." I said
"Do you have any proof?"
"Those pictures weren't proof enough for you? What about my cast, my black eye. Is that proof enough for you. I don't want Yu around me or my son."
"And yet you still can't afford to pay for your son. Can you? You have your brother and parents pay for everything am I right?"
"No that's not true!" I said with tear in my eyes.
"In fact you can barely afford clothes for him am I correct?"
"That's a lie! I always put my son before myself! You can even ask my parents or brothers! They will tell you that I have alway put my son before myself!" I said now crying.
"No further questions."
"Miss Kaulitz. What do you do?"
"I'm a singer but I'm a mother first."
"Would you say you can afford things for your son?"
"Yes." I said not lying ever since they new single Tom helped produce things have been a little easier.
"Can you say you provide a safe environment for your son?"
"Yes. He's my top priority."
"Here your honor. These are bank statements of Miss Kaulitz. You'll see that all the transactions made within the last few months all pertained to her son."
"No further questions."
"Any questions for Miss Kaulitz?
"No your honor."
"We will recess after lunch. Court adjourned."
I ran to my mom quick and gave her a hug.
"Things look like they are going well."
"How he just used money issues against me?"
"And we fought that. Besides we still have your brothers testimony. Anyway go eat something and be back here in an hour."
"Okay." I said and left with my family hoping everything turned out okay.
