The next morning I woke up with a smile on my face. I can't believe Jenna asked me to be her girlfriend. I was also kind of nervous. I mean what if I mess this up? I mean after the whole thing with Yu I'm kind of scared. This thing with Jenna is good right? Shaking the thoughts out of my head. I headed downstairs. I saw that Peyton was already up and eating pancakes thanks to Tom and Bill who were eating a stack as well.
"There's my favorite sister! So, details! How was the date?" Bill said excitedly.
"Okay first of all, can I please have breakfast? Second of all I will give you details later." I said glancing at Peyton and back at Bill who nodded with a grin.
"So, pancakes?" Tom asked.
"No thanks, I was going to make some eggs." I said.
"Nonsense I got it." Tom said and began cooking.
"Done!" Peyton said and I wiped his face and hands.
"Why don't you go pick out what you want to wear. Maybe we'll go to the park." I said and Peyton hopped down and ran off just as Tom placed the plate in front of me and sat down. Both Bill and Tom stared at me.
"What?" I asked as I ate.
"Your date must have went well if you are up early because we know you are not a morning person." Tom said.
"Yeah it was. I really like Jenna." I said.
"And the problem is?" Bill asked.
"Jenna asked me to be her girlfriend and I said yes but what if this backfires? What if Yu tries something?" I said worried.
"If he knows what's good for him then he won't try anything." Tom said.
"Besides Jenna must really like you too if she kissed you." Bill said with a grin.
"Were you spying on me!" I said irritated.
"Hey we're allowed to. We're older than you." Tom said.
"Only by 5 years." I said annoyed.
"Still older than you!" Bill teased.
I sighed and got up and went to put my plates in the sink and then slapped them both upside the head.
"Ow." They both said.
"That's for spying on me. Do you think I should take this chance with Jenna?"
"Do what makes you happy." Bill said.
"Just tell her you want to take it slow. If she really cares about you then she'll understand." Tom said.
"Thanks. I'm going to go get ready, if Peyton comes down, please occupy him until I am done getting ready." I said and headed upstairs to change. I put on some black shorts, a blue cami, and cropped shirt and converse. I then brushed my teeth and put my contacts in and did a little bit of eye shadow. I then brushed my teeth and grabbed my phone and wallet and headed downstairs.
"Mommy!" Peyton said and I lifted him up.
"Ready for the park?" I asked.
"Yeah!"
"Go get your shoes on." I said and he ran off and I grabbed some snacks and some drinks in case Peyton got hungry or thirsty.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yeah!"
"We're coming too!" Bill said.
"You don't have to." I said
"Yes we do. Besides we want to spend some time with our nephew." Tom said. I sighed since there was no point in arguing. We then headed to the park and I was hoping, no praying I wouldn't run into my ex.
