Chapter 16

Tom's POV
"Bill we need to talk." I said as I went to my brothers bunk. I saw him playing with Peyton and smiled slightly at him.
"Peyton why don't you go see mommy. Uncle Tom and I need to talk." Bill said.
Peyton nodded with a smile and ran off. I then sat on my brothers bunk and sighed.
"What's wrong?" Bill asked concerned.
"I'm thinking about having Courtney and Peyton move in with us." I said plain and simple.
"What?! Why? What if she wants to go back to Germany?" Bill asked
"I don't think that's a good idea." I said
"Why not? I mean if she and Peyton are happy in Germany and near mom what's the deal?" Bill asked.
"I just want her close and I may not want her to have run ins with Yu." I said
"Ah I see what this is about. Tom you can't control her life. I get that you care about our little sister but the truth is she is going to get hurt and you can't always protect her." I said
"Why not?! She's our younger sister! I would do the same for you!" I yelled in anger.
"That may be true but this is Courtney we are talking about?! She probably won't want to leave her band in Germany to come live with us! Besides you can't control her life." Bill said
"I'm not trying to control her life! I'm just doing what I think is best! I'm going to talk to her about this Bill. I've made my decision!" I yelled and stormed out of Bill's bunk to where Courtney was with Peyton.
"Hey Peyton. Uncle Bill said he wanted to play power rangers with you." I said and Peyton ran off with a smile on his face to find Bill.
"Does Bill really want to play power rangers with Peyton?" Courtney asked and I shook my head and she chuckled.
"I actually wanted to talk to you." I said and sat down by Courtney.
"What is it?" Courtney asked curiously.
"I want you and Peyton to move in with Bill and I after your tour." Tom said and I looked at him in shock.
"I know it's asking a lot but being on this tour with you and your band and Peyton made me realize how much I was a bad brother to you growing up and I have been trying to make things right again. Besides if you moved in with Bill and I the both of us could see Peyton a lot more. We would also be able to see you a lot more and not every couple of months." I said trying to persuade my sister.
"But what about my band? Our record company is in Germany." Courtney said sadly.
"I could produce your albums. I do it for my band why not yours. I would help your band mates get some place in LA. Please Courtney. It would work." I said
"I don't know I think Peyton would miss his Oma and Opa too much." Courtney said
"He could still see them if you didn't have the money I would fly you guys out to see them whenever you or Peyton wanted. Please Courtney. I'm just trying to be a good brother unlike before. Please I want to do this!" I begged my sister. Maybe I was just trying to get her away from Yu or maybe I really did want her to be closer but she didn't need to know.
"I'll think about it. Give me a day or two. I need to think." Courtney said and got up and walked away. I hope I would get through to her.
I laid back on the couch and had a flash back of when Bill, Courtney and I were kids. I was so mean to her back then. I regret it so much now.

Flashback
"Bill, Tom! Come play with me!" A seven year old Courtney said running up to Bill and I who were twelve at the time and had our own band called formally Devilish.
"Go away Courtney! Bill and I are busy!" I yelled annoyed as I tuned my guitar for practice.
"Tom!" Bill yelled
"What?! Georg and Gustav are going to be here for practice soon and she's in the way!" I yelled at Bill.
"No she isn't." Bill said.
"Bill will you play with me?" Courtney asked sweetly.
"I can't right now Courtney but after practice okay?" Bill said.
"Okay. What about you Tomi!" Courtney said coming over to me with a smile. I put my guitar down after tuning it and smiled sweetly. I then did the unexpected and pushed her to the ground.
"I wouldn't play with you if you were the last person on earth!" I yelled. I regret that so much now looking back.
"Tom!" Bill yelled and I could see the tears in my little sisters eyes as I pushed her!
"Why are you so mean?!" Courtney said and ran inside the house in tears. I got it that day from mom.
"That was uncalled for Tom!" Bill said
"So what?! She's always in the way! Besides I never asked for a little sister! Heck it's her fault mom and dad got divorced!" I yelled
"Oh please we knew mom and dad were fighting and if it had not been for mom meeting Gordon you would not have that guitar in your hand!" Bill said
"Whatever." I said even though he was right. Just then Gustav and Georg showed up.
"Ready?" I asked and grabbed my guitar again. Gustav and Georg got in position and we started practicing. After practice Bill ran off to play with Courtney like he promised and I hung out with Gustav and Georg and I also got grounded.

That wasn't even the meanest one and I still regret all the mean things I did to her. I really wish I would have been like Bill and accepted her. There's nothing I can do about them now. I just hope Courtney moves in with us.
