I tried so desperately to get Luke off of my mind. But since I only told my mum about Luke's disappearance, and my sister never knew about it, it made things worse.

I just told her that me and Luke had broken up and that we haven't seen each other since. And I still don't know if she saw Luke yesterday when I hit him with my car, so I just kept it quiet.

Although I should've, because Luke decided to come by again.

"Collins? Luke's here! I don't know why but he is!" Dylan yelled from downstairs.

I started to freak out because I didn't know what to do. But I was also getting really mad because I couldn't believe the nerve he had coming here.

"Yeah, I'll be right there!" I yelled back.

This time, I didn't bother getting all dressed up. I didn't care about him. Did I? No! Stop it, Collins! You don't! You're passed him now.

"Are you guys back together?" She whispered in my ear, as I walked towards the door.

"Nope." I simply answered, popping the "p".

"Then why-" She started.

I gave her a glare that meant get out of here. She left without another word, leaving me with him.

I folded my arms across my chest and blocked the door so he wouldn't be able to get in. I looked him straight in the eye and raised my eyebrows at him.

"Well?" I asked him. "Why are you here?"

"I-uh, wanted to talk to you again." He answered, avoiding eye contact.

"About?" I pressed.

"I don't know. I guess I just wanted to see you again. Can I come in?" He looked at me with pleading eyes.

I gave in, he looked too cute to say no. God! Why do I keep thinking about him like that?!

"Yeah, sure. I guess." I stepped sideways to let him in, closing the door behind him.

I leaned against the door, watching him as he walked around the house. He started chuckling when he reached the kitchen.

"What?" I asked him, as he continued to laugh.

"Remember when we had that water fight over there by the sink? I was helping you wash the dishes and then I sprayed you with the faucet. We were soaked after that." I smiled, remembering our little memory. But then I remembered that I couldn't give into him again.

"Luke, we can't do this again. There can't be another me and you in the world. We just can't. Not after all that's happened. I have a boyfriend now, Edward. He's...special. He's my new world. You had your chance with me until you left me. You ran away." I knew I had to bring it down hard on him, it was the only way.

"Collins, I already told you the truth about what happened! It wasn't my fault. I was protecting you. Can't you understand that?" He answered back.

Yeah but Luke, you can't just expect me to dump Edward. Me and Edward have had a pretty good, solid year and a half together. I can't break that. Yes, I agree that we've had some really good times together, me and you. Really good times. But me and Edward have had some too. I'm sorry Luke, I just can't go through that again." I sighed.

I made my way to the couch in the living room and sat down. I leaned back and closed my eyes. I can't believe we're having this conversation.

Luke walked towards me from the kitchen, and took a seat beside me on the couch.
