It was dark. Too dark. The room I was currently in, held only one window and from what I could see from the little light from the night sky, it was snowing.
Where was I? How did I ended up here?
...That's something I wanted to know as well.
I couldn't remember anything at all. I had so many questions but non of them was answered. I felt so scared as a shiver ran down my spine. My eyes looking cautiously around my surroundings.
I tried to open the door in the room I was in, which was a bedroom, but it gave no luck and the window was way too hight up from the ground so I couldn't jump from it.
I didn't knew why... But I had a horrible feeling that I was in danger.
A few seconds after, I heard footsteps from the other side of the door and they seemed to stop right in front of it.
I looked around in the room once more in panic and grabbed a wooden chair that was beside the wooden desk by the window. I needed to protect myself at all cost.
After a while, the footsteps echoed through what seemed to be a hall and slowly vanished into nothingness, signaling that whoever was behind the door, had now long left.
"Was that person going to hurt me? Am I in danger?" I wondered as I slowly let go of the chair.
"I... I need to get out of here," I voiced softly, not recognizing even my own voice. I looked around and searched every drawer and every pocket in the clothes inside the closet. Trying to find a key, a piece of information, anything that could give me some light into the situation I was in.
After of what seemed to be hours, I couldn't find anything. I let out a heavy sigh and fell onto the bed. I waited for hours in that room, trying desperately to find a solution for my problem. The worries and the uncertainty slowly chocking me.
My eyes then landed on a mirror from my left. A big clean mirror with metallic carvings around it. A girl with long pitch black hair and crystal blue eyes gazed back at me from the mirror. I placed the palm of my right hand on my cheek and the girl in the mirror did the same.
"Is that...me?"
The snow outside seemed to thicken and I felt really tired for some reason as a very unbearable headache started making its appearance. I wouldn't let myself to sleep. I couldn't. I needed to escape from the possible danger I was in. That person from the other side of the door could come back anytime and perhaps even hold the key for this room.
My eyelids becoming heavier by the minute. My headache worsening. Despite trying desperate to stay awake, my mind become blank as I slowly drifted to sleep.

I woke up at the sound of people talking. I instantly got up, grabbed the chair that was placed beside the desk and went close to the door. But as a cue, the door opened suddenly and I backed a few feet away in fear.
In front of me was a woman and a man who seemed to be around to forty years old. The woman had long dark brown hair tied up in a low bun with chocolate brown eyes. As for the man, he had black hair and gray eyes. Both of them wearing casual and warm clothes for the cold weather.
"Oh honey, are you alright?" questioned the woman with worry in her voice.
"Dear, I think it would be better if we call the doctor now to check on her. While I call him, you take care of her," said the man as I looked suspiciously towards both of them, trying to analyze the situation.
"Right... Sarah darling, are you ok?" spoke the woman. As I gazed in her eyes, I couldn't find any trace of danger, but only clear worry and fear.
"Should I answer them or not? How can I know if I can trust them? But her eyes..."
