~Back to present~
"You guys... I missed you!" I let go of them and flashed a smile. The pleasant memories bringing peace into my heart.
"Hey at least you didn't forgotten about us completely!" laughed William and Visus rolled his eyes.
"Of course I didn't... How could I forget about you two...," I smiled warmly at them.
"Sarah," voiced then Visus and I turned my curious gaze at his direction, "Wait here for a little, I'm going to bring you your talisman."
My eyes brightened up and I nodded slightly my head in agreement, "Okay."
After a minute or so, he was finally back with my talisman, "Here," he said now placing it into the palm of my hands. A small nostalgic smile appeared on my lips as I wore it on my neck. It was the only thing that I had from my biological parents... I wasn't planning on loosing it ever again. More that that, it helped me control my powers that tended to explode. That talisman, was able to restrain my powers and protect myself and others around me from getting hurt.
"Alexander was the one who left it here," he voiced and I unconsciously glared at the ground. Just the thought of him brought me headache. I shook my head and placed my right arm inside my pocket taking out the key I found at the Living Island.
"Say Visus, I found a key in the Living Island and it looks like it's from Aegis. Do you think you can find where exactly it is from?" I voiced while showing him the key.
"Hmm... It really is from Aegis but it doesn't look like a normal key though...," spoke Visus as he made an attempt to take it into his hands, only to wince away in pain, "What the hell?!"
"What? What happened?" questioned worriedly William and I withdrew away the key in panic.
"Visus, are you okay?"
Visus didn't answered immediately as he kept staring at his hand and back at the key with widened eyes. But when he did answered, both me and William froze in shock, "The key... I can't touch it...," he spoke and my eyes stared anxiously at the key into my hands, "When I touched it, a big amount of heat entered my whole system. That key is a burning hell! How the fuck are you able to hold it Sarah?!" he yelled and I gritted my teeth.
"Maybe it's because she has ice powers?" suggested William and I shook negatively my head.
"I don't think that's the reason... Hey Visus, can you try to see where does this weird ass key comes from?" I questioned while looking at my silver haired friend.
"I can, but you have to be the one to hold the key. I don't know how accurate the result will be, but we can try."
"Alright," I nodded my head and followed behind him along with William towards the all so familiar room with the big skillet. I placed my right hand that was holding the key inside the water and let Visus do his thing.
"What the...," murmured Visus as he raised his head to look at both me and William with a face full of wonder. I turned my gaze towards the water and saw faintly an image of a church.
"Hey, isn't that the church at the center of the City?" analyzed William and I took a gulp of my saliva.
"It is..."
"That's strange... What does the church have to do with the Living Island? What could they possible want-! Oh shit...," voiced Visus with a trembling voice and I instantly took my hand out of the water. My hand taking a stronger hold on the key.
"I need to leave...," I blurted out and William looked at me completely panicked.
"Wait, wait, wait, what happened?"
