The cursed child by the name Sarah, arrived in Ghost town along with her best friend Alexander. Inside her inner thoughts, she couldn't help but wonder about the angel she encountered in the forest. For some reason, she couldn't sense him. Who was he? What was he doing there? Many questions passed through her mind and they were only stopped, when she noticed the waving hand of her friend in front of her face.
"You okay? Is something bothering you?" questioned Alexander with worry being written clearly on his face. His eyes gazing endlessly into Sarah's.
"Nah, I'm fine," she finally shook her head and focused her eyes back on her friend, "Say, you told me that you couldn't find Katana anywhere, is that correct?"
"Eh?" Alexander looked at her confused, his hand staying frozen in the air, but after a few seconds, he quickly nodded frantically his head in affirmation. His forehead and hands sweating bullets, "Ah! That's right!" he coughed, "I couldn't find her."
"Is that so...?" she questioned again and Alexander tensed up.
"Y-yeah! Isn't that strange? She is nowhere to be found here. Let's go find her!" stuttered Alexander as he gave Sarah a nervous smile, his eyes closed and his hands moving chaotically around.
"Are you sure about that? I mean...maybe you didn't searched hard enough," she asked once more. A curious eyebrow raised and her arms tightly folded together.
"I swear to God Sarah, I truly tried my best to find her."
"Demons can't swear to God, you idiot," deadpanned Sarah and Alexander rolled his eyes.
"That may be, but we demons can swear on our Demon Kings, or our very own soul. Just because we are unholy beings, doesn't mean we don't have one," explained Alexander the self-explanatory and now it was Sarah's turn to roll her eyes.
"Alright then, swear on your soul that you didn't find Katana."
"Anyways! Please let me find her," he changed the subject and Sarah let out a sigh.
"...Sure."
Sarah was in fact, not convinced.
She could sense the familiar wandering soul of her friend almost nearby. It was obvious that Alexander was planning something but she still wouldn't say anything. She wanted to see how things would turn out. In the end, both Sarah and Alexander began their search around a small river close by.
"Welp, she isn't here," voiced Sarah calmly and Alexander coughed.
"Oh well. It is what it is. too bad. I can give her the book another time," replied Alexander almost immediately that caused Sarah to let out yet another sigh.
"Or...we can try and search for her somewhere else," she suggested and Alexander began to fidget with his striped T-shirt. His sea blue eyes looking nervously at the ground.
"W-well...you see... I-I uhh...," stuttered Alexander once more and let out a loud frustrated growl while ruffling harshly his blonde hair. He raised his head to meed Sarah's eyes and a deep red hue appeared on his whole face, "I lied...! I wasn't looking for Katana...," continued Alexander and Sarah gave him a small smirk.
"Hmm? So what was it about?" she questioned now crossing her arms, waiting for a response.
"I...I... I have to go!" yelled Alexander in an attempt to run away. That's right, an attempt. Sarah quickly caught the back of his T-shirt and prevented him from doing so.
"Oh no, you are not getting away. You have to tell me what was the reason for all this," she scolded and Alexander turned to face her again nervously.
"Damn it...," muttered Alexander and glared at no one in particular. He growled once more and looked back at Sarah with determination, "I have feelings for you."
