Both me, my friends and the angels were now facing Arsaix who was standing in the air right above the castle. He was a very strong and giant looking demon. His flesh was completely white. He had red eyes and two big black horns on his forehead. Unlike most demons, he had three pairs of white angel wings.
Michael took the responsibility to make the first move. But with talking. "Arsaix! You are doomed for the evil acts you've committed..." There they are again with their monologues... "Thou shall disappear from this world and–" I summoned my sword and took charge. "What is she doing?!" I rushed along with my friends and jumped towards the demon named Arsaix. The angels from behind us shook their heads and took charge as well. "Charge!!"
"You know Sarah?" Said David from beside me taking his full demon form. "I never thought you were the type to act carelessly." I continued running towards the demon. I swung my shadow sword in a long line in his arm. It wasn't easy to land a clear and critical hit to Arsaix since he was a giant. No kidding. He was definitely at least 20 meters. I looked back at David to see him with a sadistic smirk and a bunch of black and red swords flying around him making it easier to create a more complicated and critical combo of attacks.
I was still examining his attacks while dodging easily Arsaix's careless firestorms that were created from his large palms. I smirked towards David and flew towards him. He turned to look at me only to see me stepping in front of him blocking an attack from Arsaix's feathers. "And you... I never knew you were the type to enjoy a fight so much."
He smirked at me. "What can I say? I am surprised as well. But that feeling of crushing someone's body... feels strangely good!" He said cutting in a part of Arsaix's lower wings with blood washing him from head to toe. Is it just me or does it gets hotter out here.
"Sarah!" I looked at my left to see Alexander holding something in his hands and soon enough he tossed it to me. "Visus wanted you to have it!" He yelled for me to hear. I nodded my head as I smirked watching the weapon on my hands. "Thanks!" It was a triple nunchuck with the decorations of black feathers as at their top, each one of them had a sharp knife. I grabbed one of them and started swing them in circles creating black mist. I smirked and started to create a long combo with them making sure to hit Arsaix's wings.
I jumped up to his body and run up to his head as I defined once again the gravity. My friends who weren't able to fly in the air just continued to watch from the ground in amazement. I grabbed a strong hold of the nunchucks and started to swing it along with my body and blew up Arsaix's face. Well not completely but that sure did a damage on him.
"Take this!" Alexander rose up and burned the right lower part of Arsaix's wings. Just above him the angels were either attacked him with swords or light.
The light powers are pretty much like the shadow powers. The shadow powers, when they circle around someone, they make them feel suffocated and cold as a slight pain starts to drain their bodies and as the time passes the pain increases. As for the lighting is exactly the opposite. For a demon, the light powers are very painful, when the shadow powers being painful to the angels respectively. As for me... let's just say that I am the exception. Neither the light or the shadow powers are effective towards me and I blame that to the fact that I am half and half breed.
Everyone was fighting with their own way. Even Visus who was down to the ground, created spells as to weaken the giant demon. "Come on we can do it!" I screamed to my friends as we once again took charge towards the demon. "For the sake of humanity!" "For the sake of justice!" The angels joined us as well. Arsaix was weakened. He lost two pairs of wings. His body being shattered and his horns completely destroyed. We were winning. That was it, we were going to win for humanity!
All this time I was trying to ignore the pain inside my chest. My head was spinning yet I was still fighting. I could feel the darkness overcome my soul. Now that we are at the brim of winning, I would be rest assured. Once I die, the pain will leave my body and mind. Because... Being immortal is the biggest curse someone could had. I hate pain. I really do. But now... It's finally over. Knowing the world, my friends and family are safe... I can die in piece.
