"So Katana, how old are you exactly?" I questioned as we were walking slowly back to the place we left David. We were now much more relaxed after explaining each other's point of view. I understood her's and she understood mine. I was still confused nonetheless but I wanted to be more optimistic. I would learn the truth sooner or later.

"Well you see, when I died I was only 15 years old. But chronically I am 32," she replied and my eyes widened in complete shock.

"You died at such a young age?!" I exclaimed and she just gave me a lighthearted laugh.

"It seems that your reaction remained the same as the first time I met you."

My eyes widened but my shocked expression soon turned into a soft smile, "Let's start from the beginning. Until I remember at least. Let's be friends from scratch and learn about each other!"

"That would be wonderful!"

Once we made it back, we both saw David waiting in the same spot, only now sitting relaxed on the marble bench reading a book. As soon we approached him, he slowly raised his head with a faint polite smile and magically made the book disappear in black smoke.

"Hey," said both me and Katana in unison and we both chuckled at the timing.

"So? How was your little walk?" asked David now getting up from the bench.

"It went perfectly fine. Thank you...for helping me and for taking me here," I thanked him and his eyes visibly softened.

"I'm glad to be of help, but I'm afraid that we need to leave for now," voiced David and much to my surprise, I felt disappointed.

"Alright," I replied and then turned to face Katana, "Thank you so much for today as well. I'll definitely meet you again, even if I don't regain my memories."

"Don't mention it. I'm just glad to see you safe and sound."

I bit my friend farewell and left the Ghost town along with David. We both were walking rather quickly deep in the forest, not yet using David's power to teleport us. I found it strange and just when I was about to ask, he turned abruptly around and gave me an extremely worried gaze.

"Listen, I know that it's sudden, but you are in danger. I cannot use my portal just yet just to be careful–"

"Wait wait wait!" I interrupted David who was trying to explain as fast as possible while I was starting to panic, "What is going on? Can't you at least for once explain thoroughly?" I questioned and David's face turned into a thinking mess.

"Listen... The person who caused you the amnesia is here. And before you question it, yes it wasn't an accident."

"W-what?"

My eyes became wide open and my mouth sightly agape. My heart started beating abnormally fast as I was trying to breath and calm myself down.

"I need to calm down. Think carefully."

"Okay...okay... I-I figured as much. Otherwise why having so much blood on me in the first place?" I muttered as I kept staring down at the ground in panic. My hands warping themselves around my body, "But still... You confirming that sounds so much scarier..."

"Was... Was that person in my vision the one responsible for this?"

"I know you have questions, but right now your safety comes first. We need to get you out of here," voiced then David now grabbing my shoulders in an attempt to get my focus.

Then as if waking up, my eyes were suddenly filled with anger, "Wait... If that person is here, then I have to go and talk to them! I need to know who was the fucker who caused this to me and the reason they did it in the first place!"
