Mr. Moto zipped up Yugi's tan-colored back-pack. "Everything you're going to need is in here." He handed it back to Yugi.
Yugi took the bag and nearly dropped it in surprise when he felt its weight. "What did you put in here?!"
His grandfather shrugged. "Nothing much, just emergency supplies."
"Emergency supplies?" Yugi unzipped the bag. Inside was multiple first-aid kits and blankets. He also noticed their was bags of food and- "What is this?" He pulled out what he thought was a blanket, but it unfolded into a pair of pants and a top.
"What does it look like? Pajamas of course!" He laughed as if it was nothing.
"Pajamas?!" Yugi's eyes widened. "What would I need this for?!"
"Sleeping, what else?"
"Grandpa, I'm not wearing these. We don't know how long we'll be gone. We might be back tomorrow for all we know. I don't need these." He took them out. "I'll pack something else."
"Your mother's gone to work already. She told me to tell you to have a splendid 'camping trip' with the others."
Yugi blinked in surprise. "You told her we're going camping?"
His grandfather sighed. "Believe me, it's better she doesn't know what you're really doing. She'd never let you go." His expression turned serious. "Make sure you come back, I don't want to lose another son."
Yugi lowered his gaze. "Right," he said quietly. He looked up and tried to look as brave as he could. "I'm going to put an end to this. No matter what it takes. We'll be back before you know it," he said cheerfully. "With Ryo as our friend again, I promise." He grabbed his Puzzle and placed it around his neck.
"Be careful Yugi, if Ryo really is under the influence of some power, he won't hesitate in trying to kill you like you will. I know he's your friend but, if it gets ugly out there... I want you to come back. Get out of there. I don't want any of you to get seriously hurt."
"Grandpa, he's our friend and he needs our help. We will help him and it'll be over before you know it. None of us will get hurt, we have monsters to do the fighting for us." He held up his golden capsule.
"I know," the old man sighed. "Just please be careful okay?" He hugged Yugi tightly.
"I will," Yugi replied.
"Good luck out there."
Yugi nodded and put on his backpack. He walked out of the gameshop and closed the door behind him. To his surprise he saw a purple dragon waiting for him.
"What are you doing?!" He asked in a panicked voice. "Somebody could see you!"
The dragon only snorted in response. "My powers aren't my main concern right now. I have to be on alert all the time now."
"So what you're going to stay as a dragon for the rest of the time?" He said in frustration. He frowned. "I'm not that important Jordyn. I'm your friend, not your king. I appreciate the thought but I'll be just fine."
"That's not up to you," she growled. "I'm protecting you until I'm sure you're safe. I'm not letting you out of my sight until Ryo is defeated." She kneeled to the ground. "Hop on."
"On your back?" Yugi stared at her. "Are you sure? I can walk."
The dragon nodded. "It's fine. You're perfectly safe. C'mon, the others are waiting for us."
