Jordyn was locked in battle with a white demonic-looking monster with the lower body of a snake and a golden-plated dragon-phoenix with red eyes. Both creatures had the glowing eye of Horus on their foreheads. The three were fighting viscously, none were holding anything back. All of them were bloodied and bruised from fighting.

Watching this fight from a safe yet open place on a high ledge was Bakura, completely pleased with himself and what was happening. Next to him was another man. He was about the same height as Bakura, but his poofy and wild, spiked blonde hair made him seem twice as tall. He was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and kaki pants. A dark purple cape flowed behind him in the breeze. The man had a crazed, yet focused look in his eyes and he too seemed pleased with the violent fight. His arms were crossed and he held a solid gold rod small with wings on the tip of it in his hand. In the middle of the small sphere on the tip of the rod was the eye of Horus. Another eye of Horus was on the man's forehead, much like the monsters below. Both were glowing faintly. Unlike Bakura though, he didn't wear a duel armor or a capsule launcher.

The teens stared at him in horror.

"That's...that's...Marik," Joey stammered. He stepped back in fear. "I thought you beat him, Yuug?"

"I thought we did too," Atem stared in confusion at the deranged man. "What's going on?"

"Who's the new guy?" Ken asked curiously.

"That's Marik's psychopathic spirit," Tristan explained. "That Millennium Rod he's holding tore Marik's soul in half, one good side, one evil side."

"And that guy is insane!" Joey said nervously. "He almost killed me and Mai two years ago. When he's like that, it means he'll do anything for blood."

"Sounds like a challenge," Ken smirked. "What about those monsters?"

"I think that's Bakura's Dia Bound and the Winged Dragon of Ra," Yugi said as he looked at them keenly.

"But how's that possible?" Tèa said in confusion. "That's a divine monster, they're not capsule monsters too are they?"

"No, Marik must be using some sort of magic to summon it and be able to control it," Mahad said. "Ra would never follow him willingly."

Yugi's gaze fell back on the dragon fighting off the monsters. She didn't look badly hurt, and she was holding her own pretty well against them. "We need to help her."

"The dragon?" Ken raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, the dragon," Yugi said harshly. "She's with us."

"Alright then, lets quit standing around and do something!" Ken said as he took off running into the battle.

Alistair roared and followed closely behind. He raised his club high into the air. "Forward, my friends! Onward!" Baby Dragon snorted a stream of fire and sped off.

Mahad and Mana turned back to the teens. "We will handle this," Mahad told them. "Stay hidden and safe." He flew after the rest of the group. Mana winked at them before zooming off after him.

"Are you sure about this?" Joey asked timidly. "Letting them run off into battle like that?"

Atem nodded. "They know what they're doing."

The three monsters in battle turned in surprise to see the five monsters racing toward them. Ken immediately jumped into the air and dived at the golden dragon. He swung his mighty blade and knocked the beast's head sharply to the side. Ra roared in frustration and snapped at the swordsman. The Dark magician sent a blast of purple magic pounding into the golden dragon's chest, knocking it off its feet.
