Yugi tossed his sword to the ground and ran towards her. He deactivated his duel armor while he was running and skid to a halt and kneeled down in front of her.

"Jordyn, Jordyn!" He said frantically. He placed a hand on the unmoving dragon's cheek. She was panting heavily, and she flinched when she felt his touch.

She cracked open an eye. "Yugi?" She said weakly.

"I'm here," he said with a relieved smile. He hugged the dragon's head happily.

"You're alive, thank goodness. You nearly gave me a heart attack! Are you alright?" She didn't answer,

which worried him. The others arrived then.

"Atem..." She shut her eyes tightly, trying to fight the pain. The dagger wound was starting to weaken her, but she refused to show it. "Help Atem."

"Where is he?" Tristan asked. "What happened?"

She unwrapped her wings and revealed an unconscious Atem in her arms. The group's eyes widened in surprise. "Bakura tried to throw him off the cliff," she explained quickly. Joey and Tristan drug Atem from underneath her arms and laid him in the grass.

Seto stared at her in amazement. "You protected him from falling. You caught him and he doesn't even have a scratch on him," he said in awe. "You saved his life."

Jordyn looked at him. "I always will."

"No," Yugi said as he wrapped his arms around her neck protectively. "No more. I'm not letting you do this to yourself anymore. You're going to get yourself killed!"

The dragon shifted under him as she tried to stand up. Slowly and shakily she was able to stand normally. It was then that Yugi saw the wound in her chest. His eyes widened in horror. It was bleeding harshly and he could it was deep.

"What happened?!" He said almost in a whisper. "Why isn't it healing?"

The dragon looked down at the wound and sighed. "It's nothing. I'll be fine."

"That's a stab wound," Seto said. He looked at it keenly. "And its deep. Really deep. If you don't get that healed soon you'll die," he said seriously. "And that's IF it didn't get you in the heart."

"Can you not tell?" Jordyn asked. She winced in pain when she moved.

He shook his head. "Not right now. There's too much blood. I'm surprised you haven't passed out yet."

Dizziness started to affect her. She shook her head. "Well, don't hold your breath. But I can usually handle more as a dragon."

"We need to get you back to the campsite," Yugi said urgently. "Can you walk?"

The dragon nodded. "I can try." She took a shaky step and winced in pain. She would've collapsed if Yugi hadn't been there to balance her.

They were about to start walking when Atem groaned and opened his eyes.

Joey helped him sit up. "You alright man?"

Atem looked around. Suddenly, his eyes widened and he jumped up. "Tèa! Where is she?!"

Tristan's eyes widened. "Aw crap, she's still up there?"

Atem turned to Jordyn, furious. "You left her up there alone?!" He glared at her angrily.

"I didn't have a choice," she said sadly.

"You always have a choice! You could've saved her!"

"Atem, there wasn't any time. You would've-"
