*Video is of Yugi's voice actor. Or at least how I imagine it in this story... :P *
During the next few nights they "trained", and while they did Jordyn's relationship with the gang grew stronger and soon she was fully accepted into the group. Everyone finally trusted her. Even Tristan and Grandpa. She started learning things about them that she hadn't really noticed before like Joey's love and over-protectiveness for his little sister, Serinity. Or Tristan's huge crush on the girl. She also noticed that Yugi always acted really shy around her, not that she knew why. And it wasn't just her either, he acted the same around Tèa too. Jordyn didn't fully understand this until the night she revealed more of her powers...
"Are you sure about this?" Yugi asked nervously.
"Positive," Jordyn replied. She knelt down and placed a hand on his Puzzle.
Tristan shook his head. "You're crazy, there's no way. That thing's always had a mind of its own."
"Thanks for the support," she muttered.
"Can you actually do it?" Tèa asked hopefully.
Jordyn nodded. "Yes, watch." She began tapping certain places on the Puzzle in a sort of pattern, ending by lastly touching the eye of Horus and shutting her eyes. Her red pendant began to glow and the eye did the same. Soon, the whole puzzle began to illuminate with light. A moment later it faded away, and when it did, Atem was standing next to Yugi with a startled and confused look on his face.
They all gasped and looked at Atem. Tèa walked towards him and attempted to place her hand on his shoulder, expecting it to go right through him. But her hand stopped when it reached him, and she was surprised to feel actual flesh and clothing in her grasp.
"You're....you're actually here," she realized in awe. She smiled happily. "You're not a spirit, you're real!" She hugged him unexpectedly.
Atem's eyes widened and he blushed slightly. Joey gave him a wide grin and winked at him. "Um...yes I guess I am here." He glanced at Jordyn. "How exactly am I here?"
Jordyn grasped her pendant. "It's another one of my powers. I can make spirits visible and alive once again, under the right circumstances." She looked at the ground and sighed. "Unfortunately, this has been more of a curse than a gift. I'm also able to see, hear, talk, or touch any spirit, which has proven to be disastrous. For the most part anyway. This is only the second time that this has proven useful."
Joey raised an eyebrow. "Circumstances? What d'ya mean by that?"
Jordyn pointed at the Puzzle. "It only works if the spirit has been sealed away, like in an object such as the Millennium Items."
Atem looked down at his hand. This is incredible. How can a power like this be disastrous?"
"That's what other people thought too. But when the high priests found out, they wanted me gone."
Atem looked up in surprise. "What? Why?"
"Because...I could make spirits real, Pharaoh. Even the Ka."Atem's eyes widened.
"What in the heck are the Ka?" Tristan asked in confusion.
"Before Duel Monsters, ancient Egyptians would use stone tablets to summon monsters into battle," Atem replied. "The stone tablets contained monsters that were once in control of a person's soul. They were called the Ka." He looked back at Jordyn. "And you could make them real?"
Jordyn nodded. "Yes, but not intentionally. At first I couldn't control it, and it released dozens of monsters from people into the city. After years of training I gained control of my power. But then people wanted to use it for themselves," she said bitterly.
