Continuing on, the two teams entered through the large tent, with only a table and three stools on each side as its furniture.

The Generals took the middle seat in instinct, while the tank maidens sat at their left, and their right-hand sat at their...right.

The table is just a common mahogany table, but due to the softness, Ray couldn't help but slide his palms up and down. He made it subtle so it looked like he was gaining confidence by brushing off some nervousness.

Ray: "So, about the rules... Just what rules are we playing?"

Darjeeling: "A team deathmatch, and the time limit would be twenty four hours time. The victory will be counted by the victor's activity. The judges will calculate the casualties, the wins, the amount of land taken, and, as I said before, the activity. After calculating, they announce the winner."

Andrew: "There's no evidence of this...being rigged, yeah?"

Darjeeling: "There were bribes... That have been caught from before the ban, but it's reassured that judges won't be bought. Especially since they're foreign."

Ray: "That's an oxymoron considering they're Americans. Ahem, about this land... Um... What about it?"

Michael: "I don't have a clear clue, Ray."

Darjeeling: "Ironic for an armoured maiden like me to be cultured in the likes of pugilism and ground warfare. Bases consists of a fort, a camp, and an outpost. In all modes of Hohei-Dō skirmishes, there's a maximum limit of merely ten camps, five outposts, and a single fort... On the other hand, there's conquest, and that mode depends solely on capturing bases, and the points only matter on the bases you've took."

Andrew: "What's the difference of it all?"

Darjeeling: "Good question; A camp are merely checkpoints, where soldiers can rest up. Camps are supplied by nearby outposts, they're in charged of distributing supplies, ammunition, and basic necessities for units. A fort is essentially a second headquarters. To grant a win in either game modes, except for conquest, you must rule over a fort, and a headquarter, and automatically you'll be granted a win, but don't go thinking capturing either of those would be a walk in a pleasant park. It takes smarts to capture such a strong point."

Ray: *He smiles, amused.* "I'll take note of that."

Miho: "This is not a negotiation, is it?"

Rachel: "Cut us some slack, bowl cut. We're new here, and we're foreign exchanged. We dun' know jack about this shi' more than yew."

Miho: *She recoils from Rachel's outburst.* "Okay, jeez... Sorry..."

Darjeeling: "I'm having fun enlightening either way."

Andrew: "Hold on... What happens in actual negotiations?"

Darjeeling: "Excellent question, you darling little man."

*Andrew's cheek produce a tinge of red, and he is resisting a smile.*

Darjeeling: "Usually, there would be a clipboard handed out to the Overall Generals, and the two would negotiate on what should be used, and what should be restricted. Since this is merely a practice match, where TDM is a default mode, it's not needed."

Andrew: "Then...why did we make a negotiations tent?"

Ray: "It's symbolic, Andrew."

Darjeeling: "It's also a perfect opportunity to explain the art to an aspiring General such as yourself. I always fancy teaching new tricks to someone else."
