A Different Beginning ~ Part 53 ~ Updated: 2/9/15 Evening

Resting in the booth, I munched on my pizza swallowing the warm gooey cheese and the crunchy crust. Silas had already finished his first slice and Gabriel was on his third. Glancing over at Victor his eyes met mine and I blushed glancing back down. A hand found my knee and squeezed. Glancing up embarrassed Victor smiled and nodded at me to continue eating and I smiled weakly going back to my pizza trying to at least finish that slice.

They just ate so fast and so much. I couldn’t help but feel a little jealous. Picking up my slice, I took another large bite and munched.

“So what do you think Sang?” Gabriel asked.

My eyes widened and I quickly tried to respond but I was unable to because of the large piece in my mouth. Blushing I covered my mouth and Victor covered. “I am sure she thinks it is great. Besides you have basically bought everything in every store we have gone into and then in addition to that had her try everything on as well.” Gabriel elbowed Victor and I giggled as I swallowed my pizza.

“I am having a good time though.” I smiled happily and Gabriel smiled back to me. “This is my first time being to a mall.” I glanced around the restaurant and when my eyes met their’s I instantly realized I had said something wrong.

Quickly I covered my mouth nervously and shifted. Silas’s hand slipped around my sides pulling me close. “Fucking hell Sang. We didn’t know that?!” Gabriel cried out from the other side of the booth. I could feel other’s eyes on me and I hid into Silas’s arm.

Silas shifted forward and pulled me closer. “Gabe.” He warned and lightly rubbed my side. “It’s okay Aggele. We just didn’t know.” He whispered in my ear and I glanced over to Victor who quickly nodded in agreement.

“Where have you gotten your clothes from before?” Silas asked.

“My father always brought them home.” I shrugged and pressed my napkin to my mouth my eyes meeting Gabriel’s worried. Was it really that strange that I hadn’t been to a mall before? Sucking in a small breath of air I forced a smile. “Its no problem though. I honestly just want to spend time with you guys.”

Gabriel ran a hand through his hair and Silas smiled squeezing my shoulder. “Don’t worry about it Aggele.”

“Well since this is her first time lets walk around a bit more.” Gabriel smiled and everyone quickly shifted out of the booth and I followed ready for an adventure.

Roaming the mall, Silas pointed out a few restaurants that he thought were good quality and Victor also pointed out a few high end stores that he liked. I smiled following behind them. Gabriel, of course, brought us into his favorite stores and we dressed up in silly outfits to make him mad. But we all laughed along. As the the afternoon turned into day, the mall became more and more crowded and my eyes widened as I spotted Marie and my mother talking to a vendor.

Panicking, I ducked into a store and quietly watched them. Both had smiles on their faces and nothing seemed to be wrong at all. How long had I been gone? Two days. They didn’t even look like they cared. I held back tears of frustration but I was quickly distracted by my phone. Pulling it out I glanced down.
