POV: Mr. Blackbourne
Rushing into the room, my eyes widened as I watched Mr. Morgan's hand raise up once more to strike out at Sean. Anger engulfed my body and I rushed forward but my movement was to late. His fist landed heavily and I instantly grabbed his collar and threw him into the wall. Turning back instantly to check on Sean my eyes widened seeing him fine. Confused I turn unsure how that was possible and I followed his stunned eyes to the side of the chair. My body began to shake uncontrollably.
Sang.
My eyes glossed over the small girl who sat on the floor doubled over, her back against the wall. She had gotten the brunt of his punch having blocked Sean just in time. Why had she done something so stupid. Sang was to small and to...
Was I thinking this was unacceptable only because she was a girl?
Fighting with my thoughts I took a calming breath. It wasn't because she was a girl it was because I loved her. I love her. I let out a breath. I didn't want to see her getting hurt and putting herself in danger. She was already having enough trouble with her past that I didn't want to add to any more pain.
Rushing forward I knelt at her side, my hands carefully moving to her side but instantly she shook at my touch. She was in pain. Swearing under my breath I shifted closer. Her hair hung in front of her face hiding her emotions . Biting my lip, I shifted moving in front of her trying to gage her pain.
Cupping her chin with a finger I guided her to look at me and my eyes widened. Her face was contorted with pain and she wasn't breathing. Her soft doe eyes closed and I rushed to catch her as she started to slump over doubling over into a coughing fit.
"BABY." North roared and I heard a snicker from behind me. Turning, my eyes met those of Mr. Morgan's. He wore a smug smile on his face as he brought his hand up to his face and stretched his fingers. He was bating me and it was working.
"That's what you get for getting in my way bitch.." He slurred and wobbled as he tried to stand up. Instantly, North and Gabriel lunged at the male beating him down to the floor. Turning I slipped a hand onto Sang's back rubbing as she continued to cough.
Sean was besides me now, the icepack he had off to the side as he focused on the small girl. She was trembling badly but as her coughing finally broke she slowly leaned back against the wall. I quickly rushed to put my hand on the back of her head guiding her. She smiled weakly at me and nuzzled my hand.
"I'm okay. Get him away from here..." She whispered. Biting my lip, I glanced to Sean who instantly nodded and shifted forward to protect as I stood moving toward the drunken male on the floor. Dragging him to his feet I centered my rage and punched him straight in the stomach causing the male to double over and pass out.
I dragged the male out of the room and closed the door behind me. I was furious. He had managed to hurt someone so precious, sweet, and innocent. He didn't deserve to live and the only reason why he was alive at this moment was because of that girl. Grunting, I carried the male down the steps and my eyes met two stunned butlers.
