Something flashed in Eden's eyes and Hodge saw it, it wasn't recognition nor shock, thankfully not anger either. She did let go of Hodge and take a step back, putting up a defensive barrier that kept Hodge at bay, this allowed Hodge to fix his clothing and look at the woman before him.

Eden remembered when her father had told her about everything when she turned 18, essentially what Jocelyn was planning on doing with Clary but was unable to do so. She remembered him telling her that their Shadowhunter name was GRAYMARK but that he had changed it in order for them not to be hunted down by Shadowhunters and to be accepted by the Shadow World with more ease.

"My father's name is, and has always been, Luke Garroway." Eden told Hodge with a firm tone, holding back a growl that was attempting to rumble in the back of her throat. She wanted to warn the older man that he was starting to thread into dangerous territory and that she wasn't liking his advances, but at the same time, she wanted him to jump right into it so that she could snap his neck in half with her jaw if he went too far.

"I don't think it has been. You bear a striking resemblance to Amatis Graymark, you are almost her spitting image if I may be frank. And Amatis happens to be Lucian's sister." Hodge pressed, watching as Eden turned her back to him and walked into her room, hearing a scoff pass her lips.

He was so certain of who she was, he was willing to give up his life for it, but the way the younger woman was reacting to his words, giving him mixed reactions, was confusing him.

Even though she scoffed, Eden frowned at the name. It was the second time that name had been mentioned, and in relation to her as well as in her presence, which was making her extremely curious as to who this woman was and why her father never mentioned her.

"Do mundane restraining orders work in the Nephilim System or must I request one from the Clave?" Eden quizzed, feigning innocence as she turned around to face him. Her posture was comfortable and she was even leaning her legs on the bed where the bag with the things she had salvaged were.

A look of confusion flashed across Hodge's face momentarily before it was replace with a plethora of emotions that not even he could verbalize, prompting him to leave the doorway and walk down the corridor.

Him doing so allowed Eden to breathe properly, she'd been controlling herself, keeping her anger in check as to not lash out. The fact that this man knew who her father was, meant that he possibly meant he knew what Luke was and him questioning everything was getting under her skin because it would no doubt get to the questions.

"How are you alive?"

and

"What are you?"

Which Eden knew she would lash out in anger at, she had done so before and she would do so everytime, it was one of her weaknesses. Her lack of knownledge.

She didn't know how she would handle the training sessions with him, she assumed he would no doubt test him in every weapon area and quiz her on every rune and she knew that she, herself, was quick to lose her temperament when in an enviroment in which she was pressured. Something that in the short time she'd been around Hodge, he'd been able to make her feel so.

There was also the question of who this Amatis person was. Hodge had just told her that Amatis was her father's sister, which would make her Eden's aunt, but her father had never mentioned her before.

A frown grew on her face and she slowly sat down on the bed as she thought back to what the Circle member said at the Apartment, 'How is your daughter? 23 right? And lived with her uncle, your brother.' this meant that the woman had a daughter, a daughter that was Eden's age. Everything was growing complicated suddenly that Nephilim were making a more predominant role in her life and Eden was slowly starting to fear what that would mean for her.
