Eden and Clary ditched Simon in order for Clary to be able to go home and change, so once they stepped inside Jocelyn's antique shop, Eden was more than welcomed by the scent that the house and shop had, a scent that since she was a young teen she loved and made her feel safe. Even now at 23 she felt like running from her problems, which she didn't have, and hiding in the loft with Clary for hours on end.

Behind the counter of the little shop stood a woman that Clary and Eden loved as a sister, an older sister that Eden never had and another older sister that Clary loved, "Hey, Dot." Clary called out, bring the woman's attention to her and Eden and away from the tarot cards that she had been messing with. The woman, Dot, looked up and beamed at the sight of the anniversary girl as well as the newly returned Eden. "Hey!" the older woman replied, walking around the counter and enveloping the werewolf in a tight hug, that was instantly returned.

"Welcome home."  she greeted when she pulled back making the slightly tannish girl beam at her and reply "It's wonderful to be back." Dot smiled at her while the ginger with them rolled her green orbs and countered "She missed mom's amazing pancakes and sitting with me in my room planning all the possible ways of getting our parents together."

The older woman chuckled slightly at the ginger's words and shook her head, her Asian features shinning slightly in the little lightning that was provided, having heard many times the plans that the two girls were formulating, the wedding plans that they had made for their parents.

"How's your future looking?" Clary inquired as her eyes caught sight of the tarot card on top of the counter, this brought Dot's attention back to the counter where she smiled and replied "Not as good as yours. The tarot cards tell me you got into the advanced program." Eden couldn't help but snort slightly at the Asian descent woman's words, going as far as covering her mouth and nose with her hand in order to hide it.

The ginger, however, hummed in fake agreeance before peering down at the cards and claiming "And by the tarot cards, you mean, Simon's Twitter account?" everyone chuckles and Eden starts making her way up the stairs while Dot and Clary speak for a little while longer. As she walked up the stairs, Jocelyn's familiar scent filled her nose and caused a bright smile to etch on her lips. It was true she had missed Jocelyn more than anything in the world, more than her father even, Jocelyn was, to her, a mother, a protector, a shoulder to cry on, so much so that she had taken to calling Jocelyn mom when she was younger.

"Mom..." She breathed as soon as her hazel eyes caught the sight of the older red-haired woman, watching as Jocelyn whirled around with a pleasantly shocked look on her face, "Eden!" the older woman claimed happily, setting down the basket and rushing towards the pale tanned brunette, her arms going around her neck and hugging her tightly, "You're home! How are you home? Why didn't your father warn me about you coming back home?" Jocelyn inquired without taking in a breath

"Dad didn't know." Eden laughed into her mother's neck as she cherished the hug, "You've grown so much. Please tell me that you didn't get married to a Frenchie." the older woman pleaded, her tone indicating that she was joking, "Absolutely, you have 7 grandchildren, 4 boys and 3 girls." Eden replied in the same tone, making the two pull apart laughing.

This was when Jocelyn truly looked at Eden, she had grown well into her true looks, both werewolf and hunter alike, her long fingers pushed Eden's brown hair back and behind her ears, allowing her complete face to come to light, including the scar that trailed from her to her jaw, a scar from when she was 1 and loved pulling on things, especially cloth, this one had so happened to be dinning table cloth that had a vase on top.

She hadn't cried when the shard of the broken vase flew into her face, not a single whimper left her lips, it wasn't until Eden's mother went to grab a glass of water that she was found, shard in her face and frozen in place. She had been so young that it was forbidden to give her a healing rune, instead, she got stitches.
