Eden knew that even though she had a loyalty towards her pack that her father would reprimand her for leaving Clary at the Institute, not that she would blame him for doing so, but she also knew that he would do the same were Jocelyn involved in this.

She halted in her step for a split second as she thought of her mother figure, she had yet to see her or hear from her, and that wasn't a good sign, her father's words "We've been found." came back to mind, for the second time that night and although her alpha had told her it involved Valentine she could only wonder how it involved her, Clary, her father and Jocelyn.

Jace had told them that Clary had been attacked and she knew that Clary would go straight home after something as traumatic as the club, but Jace only brought back Clary which made Eden's throat close up as she feared the worst.

Her destination changed as her feet began to lead her in another direction, in the direction of the Fray's loft, gaining speed the moment it came into her view, the entrance gates were thrown open, something that never really happened.

Jocelyn's name fell from her lips like a prayer as she entered the open gate and ran towards the front door, praying to every Angel in the universe that the only mother figure she could remember was still there and alive. Her feet stomped their way up the stairs hurriedly, stopping at the top of the stairs as the view before her showed a perfectly intact apartment.

A glamour had been cast over the place, and Eden knew this only because of the faint smell of magic and the intense smell of burned things, a low growl ripped through her lips as she made her way to Clary's bedroom. There was no glamour inside the bedroom, allowing Eden's brownish eyes to see the charred and burned room that was once her sister's pride and joy as well as her safe haven.

There was still heat in the room which meant that the fire hadn't been more than a couple of hours, maybe the same amount that she'd been knocked out and at the Institute, her body worked faster than her mind as she walked around grabbing all of the uncharted and destroyed sentimental objects and throwing them into a backpack that had been miraculously spared and inside Clary's wardrobe.

She then walked over to her bedroom to find it in the same state as Clary's, although it would seem that someone had already been in there, the burning scent nearly masking completely the scent of the intruder, angering her completely and making her step back into the hall.

"You chose the wrong night to come snooping through things." she warned, as she made her way to the living room, watching as the glamour fell right before her eyes and showcased a couple of shadowhunters, circle members by the rune on their neck. "Amatis Graymark, it's lovely to see you." one of them claimed, pale hair shinning in the moonlight along with everyone's seraph blades.

"Although we weren't expecting you to leave Idris, especially not since you exiled your own daughter and brother and particularly not since the death of your beloved Stephen." the same man taunted, stepping forward. A frown settled on Eden's face for a few moments, before it faded away, giving her an impassive look. "How is your daughter? 23 right? And lived with her uncle, your brother." the taunting would have clearly affected the woman, Amatis, if Eden were her.

The man kept stepping closer, the grip on his blade tightening, something that Eden could tell thanks to her enhanced vision. "Do you think she remembers you?" a wicked smile spread across his face "Do you think she'll mourn you." and with that he was close enough for Eden to reach out and grab his throat, lifting him off the ground easily.

"I'm not this Amatis you think I am." she growled at him, feeling her skin grown hot and her muscles tense even more, the familiar tingling in her eyes alerting her to the fact that they had changed from brown to gold, causing the man in her grip to widen his eyes and drop his blade as he attempted to claw at her hand, hoping to pry it off his neck.

"I'm Eden Garroway." she added before snapping his neck, the loud crack bouncing off the walls followed by a thund, the body hitting the ground. It seemed that the other shadowhunters were as shocked as the one that Eden had killed because they didn't act as fast as they had been trained from childhood to act, giving the mixed woman the chance to allow all of her muscled to relax for a moment before they broke in all the places, coming together again in different places, different positions.
