The peace that Eden had been enjoying came to an abrupt ending when the trio that she was babysitting came out of their spot supporting big smiles, in Clary and Simon's case, and a small frown, in Maureen's case, a frown that Eden could only assume that was a result of Maureen admiring and drooling over Simon during the gig and Simon admiring and drooling over Clary, something that Eden knew to be utterly true
"Thanks for being our roadie." Maureen thanked in a fake chirpy tone, "Yeah, and thank you for being our artist in residence." Simon agreed watching as Clary went straight for Eden and latched her arm around the older woman's waist, making the slightly tanned woman smile down at her, "Of course. So, you went on stage tonight as Champagne Enema." She claimed as she looked back to the two, watching as they laughed and completely missing the disgusted look on her sister's face.
"What were we thinking, right?" Simon mused as he fixed his glasses, peering at the three women around him before saying proudly "But now... we're Rock Solid Panda." another name that had the eldest of the quartet scrunching up her nose. Clary grabbed a can of paint and said "Rock Solid Panda, coming up. I'm feeling inspired." She then walked around to the side of the van, being closely followed by the other two teenagers and began to spray paint the new band name on the van.
"What's that tag?" Was the only thing Eden heard Simon inquire that piqued her interest, causing her to step onto the side of the van with furrowed brows, "Weird, I didn't even mean to draw that. Second time today." Clary claimed, her green eyes casting to her sister in half worry, something the older brunette caught onto and rubbed her arm to soothe, "Don't worry about it. I think it's just stress." she half lied.
"Stress from what?" Clary frowned at her sister, worry and confusion coating her words, "Getting into the Academy." Eden replied, smiling at the ginger who instantly felt like all the problems in the world would disappear because her sister was there.
Unfortunately, someone bumped into her sister, causing her to break eye contact with her as she turned to glare at the person, only it wasn't a person as Eden's eyes caught the sight of the person shimmering into her image, she watched as the black and purple dress disappeared and her tight jeans, grey top and leather jacket, she watched as her hair appeared on the other person's body and couldn't help but let a low growl escape her lips.
"Stay here." was the only thing she could utter to her sister before she took off in the direction that the shapeshifter demon was headed in, she knew that it was a demon, not only because of what she had seen happen but also because of the revolting stench that made every fiber in her body beg to shift into her gorgeous werewolf form.
As she entered the club Eden's senses became overwhelmed, the demon's stench and the smell of magic filled her nose as the loud music nearly gave her an aneurysm, even as she strained it all she could hear was loud music and whispers of what the humans were saying, that was until her own voice came back to her ears claiming "More mundane blood for your boss."
