Eden had changed into the clothing that Isabelle had left her in no time, literally unbuttoning and unzipping her pants where she stood, which had caused Alec to flee the room the second he caught on to what was happening. Once done she stood in front of the mirror that was displayed there for here, her light hazel eyes scanning her figure, not that she needed, she had every curve of her own body memorized.
In the mirror she could also see Isabelle sucking in a breath and moving her eyes elsewhere while a healthy blush covered her cheeks, almost as if she was a shy person, "When is this Jace person returning with my sister?" she questioned, her voice strong and demanding, a hint of overprotectiveness audible. "It'll depend on where your sister goes and if she moves around much." the Lightwood girl replied, peaking at the brunette once more before standing up.
"And that itself depends on who she's with." Eden retorted, turning around to face the black-haired beauty, Isabelle chuckled and turned her eyes on the brunette completely, her cocoa eyes slowly racking Eden's body up and down before they settled on her goldish eyes, "But on instinct, she would have headed home. It's the place she feels the safest."
"You know, for sisters, you and Clary look very different." Isabelle found herself stating, "I never said we were related by blood." Eden snapped, the pent up worry and the hatred for such comments winding her up, she released a deep sigh mere seconds after and an apologetic expression etched on her face.
"I'm sorry, I'm worried about Clary." Eden explained, walking over to the bed and sitting down, "I understand, I would also be worried if Alec or Max went missing?" Isabelle offered in return, "Alec's your brother?" Eden frowned, she would have never pegged them for siblings, but of course, she was not one to make such comments.
Isabelle hummed in reply before standing up, walking to the glass panel that allowed her to peer outside, this allowed Eden to have a good look at the girl, very much like Eden now was, Isabelle was dressed in black clothes from head to toe, her stilettos making her legs look longer, her runes certainly did make her look tougher than she was, although Eden wondered if she was truly as tough as she seemed.
"While we wait, we'll have you meet Hodge, see if he can give you a training session or two, see how skilled you are." Isabelle spoke, her back turned to a jaw slacked Eden, "Also, I believe Alec is attempting to look for an empty bedroom for you to stay in." those words were enough to snap Eden back to reality, making her shake her head slightly and furrow her brow at the nearly Latina-looking girl.
"Bedroom?" She echoed in confusion, "I don't need a bedroom, I have a home." She felt slightly offended that these people, these hunters assumed that she would gladly stay with them, and although Eden had to admit that staying with them had the perks of getting trained by official hunters, of going on real missions, of possibly visiting her birth home she was not going to throw everything she had in her normal life out the window for it.
Isabelle turned back to the hazel-eyed brunette with clear shock on her face, she assumed, like many would assume, that after a small sour yet sweet taste of this life would have Eden on her knees begging them to allow her to stay with them. Yet Eden looked more offended than honoured by her words. "It's safer here than your home." She attempted to reason, "I've never been a damsel in distress, I don't plan on starting now." Eden replied.
