Our Wedding (Part 1)

I am awoken by the sound of Effie's noitcable voice and one of her many catch phrases

"It's going to be a big big day!"

The baby has been kicking all night but I slept through it knowing today is Peeta and my day. Jennette and Annie kindly greet me and start prepping my hair and makeup as my mother and Johanna walk into the bedroom.

"Good Morning Sweetie" my mother says

"hey brainless" Johanna says

"good morning girls" I say

After about 3/12 hours of makeup and hair for my whole bridal party, Jennette and Annie finally finish. When I see myself I am totally amazed by how Amazing they fixed me up.
Even Flavius and Octavia liked how I looked and honestly, I look natural and for my sake, they dressed like normal people. Even Effie didn't put on her wig and didn't have and Capitol makeup on. She looked. Beautiful without all that makeup caked on. But Annie and Jennette made me feel, pretty for once in my life.

"Thank you" I hug them both" for everyhing" i say

"Katniss, can I speak to you in the hall way?" my mother asks while finishing up her makeup since she's fully dressed

" sure" I say

"Okay Katniss, As you know, your sister and father are proudly watching over you right now and before your father passed, he made three notes. One for You, your sister, and myself incase he ever did miss your weddings. So this is where the letters come in. He made letters for your future husbands and yourself. In this case, I gave Peeta his and " she takes out a folded up old piece of paper" here's yours. Read it now and then talk to Peeta about it later. I love you and now put on your dress! We have to be at the church in 30 minutes!"

when I check the clock, I see it is 12:30 and the church starts at 1. "OH MY GOD ANNIE COME ON WE GOTTA GO SOON!" I say before taking the letter and take Annie's Hand and rush to my room

"Annie help me get this dress on!" I say since it's kind of difficult to put it on myself since of my small but noticeable baby bump.

After about five minutes, my dress is on, I look at myself in the mirror and for the first time in a long time, I can see myself in a way Peeta sees me. All my insecurities finally go away seeing myself as Peeta sees me. All I care about is what he sees of me when I walk down that aisle

(PEETAS POV)

When I'm in my preparation room in the basement of the church, I open Ms Everdeens Letter that she gave me that came from Mr Everdeen. And I've been so anxious to read it.

"Dear future son in law,

Today I give away my beautiful oldest daughter Katniss. I don't care what you look like, where your from, or how tall you are. All you have to do to receive my blessing on my daughter is to treat her like the princess she is. I am writing this note when she is only 9 years old and if I'm not there when she does get married, I will know she will be the most beautifulest bride there is. She deserves someone who will treat her better than a king would treat her. I know I have a strong feeling on who her husband will be and all I have to say is, take good care of her Peeta."

Me? how could he possibly know I was going to marry her? I mean, I've been inlove with her since I was 5 but it's highly unlikely he would of ever of had guessed that. This meant the world to me so I decided to keep the note in my jacket pocket.

"Hey buddy. it's time... Katniss is in the next room so talk to her for 5 minutes but then you have to get up on that alter" Finnick says while closing the door
