Peeta and Katniss

Telling Peeta

I figured I would keep my test in my secret pocket in my bag so Peeta doesn't think I was lying.. But how should I tell him?!?! I mean, I want him to be the first one to know because he is the father and he is the reason I'm having this baby.

As I arrive home, I quickly realize a sweet scent coming from the kitchen.. It's only 2:00 how is Peeta cooking dinner this early??! Eh I don't care anyways cause I am just starving. I decide to go up to Peeta and scare him because for some reason he didn't hear me walk in.. As I put both hands around his neck, he quickly jumps and then as he notices it's me he grabs me up and spins me around and kisses me..

"Peeta what smells so amazing?!!! " I ask

"Suprise my darling u will find out at 5!"

"Well then" I say sarcastically

"Love you" Peeta says

"Love u to " I reply

In the time to spare, I decide to re-read a book from a LONG time ago. It's called The Fault In Our Stars and I absolutely loved it it took about 1hr and 30 min to finish it again cause I am a fast reader. I realized it was only 3:30 so I decided to watch the movie of Tfios. And let me tell u, I must of wasted 3 boxes of tissues.

"Dinners ready babe" Peeta yells

"I'll be there in a minute" I reply

Should I tell him now?!should I wait?!?! I don't know but I decide to tell him by the test.. As I quickly go to my bag, I put the test in my sweater pocket which now looks like nothing is in there (but the test)

As Peeta pulls me my chair out and in, "Well thank you my Peeta"I say with a smile

"Anything for you my Katniss" he says as he was playfully mocking me

As he hands me an appetizer of 3 cheese buns "mmhhh my favorite" I eat it like nothing
" Thank you Peeta"

"No problem my love" he replies.. "Katniss, can we talk?"

"Yeah what about?"

"Alright I know this might be to early to ask but in the future, you know after we are married, would you one day might want to have a baby?" He says with desperation in those crystal blue eyes

I just smile grabing one of his hands and having my free hand reach for the test covering it completely as I put it into Peeta's hand that I was holding

I see him smile. That perfect smile that is soon to be mine with the rest of him.

"Katniss, is this test real or not real?"
"Real" I tell him right as he picks me up and spins me around before giving me a kiss. This is no ordinary kiss. It is somehow more passionate than our others.

"In the matter of nine months, it's ours! Your gonna be a daddy Peeta" I say

The rest of the night is in a blur from there
