Our wedding(Part 3)

"Hey Catnip" he says to me anger filling my veins

"What the fuck are you doing here? who invited you" I say as I see Peeta walking next to me

"I came to see the bride in white and to tell you two I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say the things I said at the train station or hurt you Peeta. the reason I did it was because i was drunk and I was shocked to see you with Peeta. I am so sorry for saying those things and for hurting him because I know he will treat you better than I ever would. All I'm saying is if we can have another shot of being friends? all three of us." he explains

I give Peeta a look for assurance that we can't trust gale the same way we did but we can give it a shot

"How do we know your just doing this to try and get with me?" I say

He starts laughing for no apparent reason" cause I'm over you. I realized we are too good of friends to date." he says

"how can I believe you?" I ask

"Cressida! Come over here" he says as Cressida comes and he puts his arm around her as he kisses her cheek."Me and Cressida got close when I was in District two and lets just say she has a ring on her finger given by me when I asked her to marry me." he says

me and Peeta are in shock. How could Cressida not tell us?

" gale, you left me all alone when I needed a friend the most. That's how I knew Peeta was the one. he overcame the hijacking and came with me. He stayed with me."

"the only reason(A/N listen to this song by 5 seconds of summer it's amazballs) I left was because I knew you were mad at me for thinking I killed prim. I only made the bomb for the Capitol... I never would of had known they would of used it to kill her. I've helped protect her and your mother and yourself for so many years. you really think I would of liked to kill prim? no. prim was like my sister and when she died I was upset about it too. all I'm asking for is another shot of being friends with you and Peeta." he explains where I can see the truth in his eyes

all I do is hug him. I hug him and then Peeta too. Maybe I'll never be able to fully trust gale again but hey, I should atleast give him another chance becuase in the end, we were like family for all those years.

"thank you gale" me and Peeta Say to him as the party starts coming to an end as Peeta picks me up bridal style as we go home.

"we're married" I say to him as I look into his blue eyes as we both face eachother when we are in bed

"we're married" he says as he gives me a loving smile." thank you for everything. Helping me through two hunger games AND a hijacking, agreeing to have our baby girl and agreeing to marriage. I've dreamt about this since I was 5. A life with Katniss Everdeen(Mellark) who I can spend the rest of my life with. so thank you katniss" he says as he kisses me full on the lips

the kiss was kind of like my response to what he said. he knows I love him and he know i feel the same about him and this kiss explains it.

as he puts his hand on my stomach which he does every night, we seem to fall into a deep loving sleep in each other's arms. I know today was one of the best days of my life. the beginning of starting over with my wonderful husband.
