Peeta and Katniss

I Cant Loose Him

After me and Peeta were checked out of the hospital, we decided to walk home since it's a good 20 minute walk from their. As we got into our house, I quickly drop on the couch next to Peeta whose already on the point of falling asleep. God, I love him even though he is nearly asleep, he manages to protect me with one arm wrapped around me. It must be like a reaction or something. As I quickly daze off to sleep, I am visited by a nightmare

(Nightmare)

It was the night Peeta proposed to me. Exactly the same everything. How we were in the meadow, how he bent down on one knee and said

"Katniss Everdeen, I've loved you my whole life. I can't imagine a world without you because you are my world. Without you, I'd have nothing. Katniss listen. I know we've been through hell and back and we had to act our love story but guess what. All of that is now over. There is no more cameras. No more acting. No more hunger games. But we do manage to keep one another safe cause that's what you and I do. Protect each other. Katniss, listen I loved you since we were five and I will never stop loving you cause you are my everything. I love you. Forever and always. So Katniss,will you do me the honor of marrying me? Real or not real?" He pours his heart out tellin me

"Re-" I manage to slip out before I see someone whom I thought was dead just shot Peeta. As I realized it was snow I quickly was also shot right where Peeta was. Right in the heart.

(End of nightmare)

I am awoken by looking around and finally finding Peeta wide awake comforting me and soothing me with words as I sob into his chest.

"Shhh it's okay. It's okay baby your safe.. Do you want to talk about it"he asks

"Snow.............killed.........you...............when......... Proposing..........to ......me.......then.......killed..........me" I say inbetween sobs

"Shhhh it's okay.. Your safe and I'm safe and snow is gone.... Your okay. I promise. I love you" he says worriedly as if I was still in shock

"I love you to. Please don't ever leave me. Stay with me?"

"Always"he says as I drift off into a deep sleep.
