Peeta and Katniss

Finally happy

Okay so I am skipping for Katniss to be four months pregnant

(Peeta's POV)
It's been four months since Katniss told me she was having our first child. God I was so happy. I hope our child will have all of Katniss' features. Her beautiful brown hair with her seam grey eyes! I hope our child looks like her.

Ever since we have found out she is pregnant, me and her have had a bet going on what gender the baby will be. I think it's a boy but Katniss has a feeling it's a girl. We couldn't care less about the gender because we will love it anyway.

Today, we are going to the hospital to find out what gender the baby will be. We are sooo exited! After the hospital, we plan to go and see Annie for her 25th birthday! Haymitch and Effie are coming from the Capitol because they are dating and have been there ever since I had proposed to my fiancé. We haven't told any of them that Katniss is pregnant because 1)she has a small bump that is stating to be noticeable and 2)the word has not yet got around. So we decided to tell everyone on Annie's birthday and then take a trip to the hospital to tell Katniss' mother which I'm scared about that she won't like the idea because she is only twenty when I am twenty one

As we arrive to the hospital, we go to the front desk and I was quickly cut off by Katniss saying
"Mr and soon to be mrs mellark we are here for my check up" she says in a happy tone"
"Yes of course! Let me check you two in!" The nurse says

"Thank you"i say
As Katniss pulls me down into a chair I see as she sits on top of me which i don't mind at all.

"In the matter of about you say two months I shall be called Mrs Mellark"
"Oh shall you may" I say with a smile on my face
As I lean in to kiss her, the nurse says Mr and Mrs Mellark room 727 please
"Okay" we both say in unison

(Katniss' POV)

As we enter our room, I get changed into a hospital gown and lay on the bed.

"Okay.its gonna be a boy I tell you" Peeta says
"Oh Peeta, your right about a lot of things but this is not one of those things"
"Okay if it's a boy u owe me 5 bucks, if it's a girl I will give u five bucks okay?"
"Okay." I say
Finally after Peeta gives me a quick kiss on the cheek, my baby doctor Dr Marie comes in

"Hello you two! I'm Dr Marie and I will be taking care of you for your next couple of months" she says
"Well thank you and I am Ka-"

"Don't I already know you guys and I'm happy to be at your service! So let's get started! Peeta, do you mind rubbing this gel on Katniss' stomach?"
"Of course!" He says
"It will be a little cold but it will be fine!" Dr Marie says
"Okay" as Peeta picks up my gown and I start to see him blush right as Dr Marie tells us she will be back in two minutes
"You know you don't have to blush, you've seen me everywhere" I say
"I know it's just so amazing that the girl of my dreams is my fiancée and is having a baby with me" he says as I start to tear up. Damn these hormones. I then start to laugh as Peeta applies the cold gel on my tummy ask play with his hair he starts talking to the baby like he always does just as Dr Marie walks bac in with the machine

"Okay so here is the head and here is the feet and it's heart beat. Now would you like to know the gender?"
"Yes" both me and Peeta say in unison

GIRL!!!!

I see the biggest smile on Peetas face as his big blue eyes widen and he starts to tear up as I do as he picks me up and twirls me around
"Congratulations you two I will see you in a month!" Dr Marie says
"This is finally it! We are gonna have a baby girl! I love you Katniss Everdeen!" He says

" no no no call me Katniss Mellark... I say we get married in four after Annie's party"

" okay ! I love you in love you I love you I love you Katniss Mellark"
" no I love you I love you I love you is love you more Peeta Mellark!but you still owe me my five bucks my love"
